AjcW Posted 22 September 2009 Posted 22 September 2009 Snuck up on me, didnt think it started this soon after the natwest series. Todays Fixture. South Africa V Sri Lanka. Sri Lanka my favourites for this tournament are currently 92-1 after just 13 overs. Dilshan Flying, 10 fours.
Brainy Posted 22 September 2009 Posted 22 September 2009 Sri Lanka could have probably hit 20/25 runs more. Sri Lanka's bowling attack is awesome, England stand no chance against them.
Bert Posted 22 September 2009 Posted 22 September 2009 I can't wait until England miserably fail at the one day game again.
SOCCERROO FOX Posted 23 September 2009 Posted 23 September 2009 I can't wait until England miserably fail at the one day game again. We can only hope
Alexikokopops Posted 23 September 2009 Posted 23 September 2009 Is there really any point in this competition?

Fox You Forest Posted 23 September 2009 Posted 23 September 2009 Floyd Riefer what a hero. Windies will get hammered, shame we're not in there group, might win one then.
Brainy Posted 23 September 2009 Posted 23 September 2009 Only heard of Miller, Best, Smith and Fletcher oh and Sammy. out
Fox You Forest Posted 23 September 2009 Posted 23 September 2009 Playing league cricket in Basingstoke.
Brainy Posted 23 September 2009 Posted 23 September 2009 Will be a decent battle between Australia, Pakistan and India to see who can bowl the Windies out for the least amount of runs.
Fox You Forest Posted 23 September 2009 Posted 23 September 2009 You have to feel for the West Indies. Why? If the board aren't paying them enough money they have no-one else to blame but themselves, maybe a wee bit sorry for the players but lets face it the vast majority of them would never have got near playing international cricket so they're living the dream. Except Floyd Riefer who is twice the player and captain Gayle is.

AjcW Posted 23 September 2009 Author Posted 23 September 2009 "Reifer and Co Stoned by Pakistan" Im THAT bored
Wilkesy Posted 23 September 2009 Posted 23 September 2009 133 all out. Pakistan to get it in under 20 overs anyone?
Brainy Posted 23 September 2009 Posted 23 September 2009 Tbf it could have been much worse. They were 51/7
Fosse Boy Posted 23 September 2009 Posted 23 September 2009 Couldn't care less about this ICC cash cow. Pointless tournament.
Milky Posted 23 September 2009 Posted 23 September 2009 Apparently the conditions are set up nicely for our seam attack. Win the toss, Bowl, who knows.
Corky Posted 25 September 2009 Posted 25 September 2009 212 all out. Not bad really, just frustrating that it could've been a lot less given our excellent start.
