I have to say that until all the players are brought into the game we will suffer like yesterday. On my count they had 11 players and we had 9.

Neilson 4 very poor - lacks pace and what was that shot when we might have pinched a point ?

Brown 6 - Not as bad as some are saying. Did back off plenty but usually managed to end up winning the ball with a strange falling backwards slide tackle. Distribution was fine as well

Tunchev 6 - Struggled in the air first half but improved second half. Not at his best but crucial 90 minutes under his belt.

Berner 7.5 - Standard stuff from Bruno, extra .5 for notching

N'Guessan 3 - Truly awful. Not only failed to beat his man but invariably ended up giving up possession in dangerous areas. Neilson looks worse because of Dany.

Oakley 6 - I don't like Oakley but he was busy first half. Just doesn't offer enough at either end of the pitch. I feel players like Oakley will hinder our efforts to progress as a side. How we need a dynamic player like Chaplow alongside Wellens

Wellens 5.5 - Not fit, at fault for the first goal and passing range was well below usual exwmplary standard.

Gallacher 6.5 - Is clearly a good player but our major problem is how we shoehorn him into the side. Our style of play needs to change to utilise him fully.

Fryatt 7 - Looked very very sharp first half before a quiet second.

Howard 4 - Needs dropping. Not winning enough aerially and contributing nothing without the ball or in general play. Pointless.

Waghorn 6 - Good on the half turn, some nice little feeds inside to runners.

Dyer 4.5 - Did nothing

Kermorgant 6 - Won 2 in every 3 headers and appeared to have a decent touch.

What Happened With Nielson Today Should Play Morrison Next Week Danny N'Guessan Was To Greedy But Matty Fryatt Ran His Socks Off And Give Him Man of the match ! Berner Did Really Well But Shouldnt have brought Howard off Because as soon as he did no headers were won "/ This is the only game so far i can question pearsons tactics Kermogen Was Good Maybe a possible start next week Come on Leicester !!!!

Weale 7 Thought he had a very steady game.

Neilson 3 Deserved to be booked for a very bad challenge and did little of note. He's probably ok for the lower reaches of this division but any winger with pace will expose his defensive frailties. As an attacking force he's pretty hopeless and his long throws don't have enough pace on them. No doubt he's a trier but it is starting to look as if he's not good enough for the top end of the championship.

Brown 4 A throwback to the 1980's. The Garry Coatsworth of the current side. Badly exposed by Peterborough and here again by Preston. Basically he's ok as long as the opposition have no pace but once the ball is played on the ground he looks very very average.

Tunchev 5 Looked very average. Really should have been subbed and he's either no longer interested in playing for us or isn't match fit. I'm prepared to give him the benefit of the doubt but he needs to improve.

Berner 7 A very respectable outing and a well taken goal.

N'Guessen 3 Close to awful. Looks more of an impact player than a starter. Needs time to adjust but time is something we don't really have.

Wellens 5 A player of good quality who is also very frustrating. For every time he does a great pass he gives the ball away cheaply two more times. Partly at fault for the first goal with a poor header. Doesn't look like he will score many goals either.

Oakley 6 Pretty much the largely anonymous player of a couple of seasons ago. We needed a quality performance from him but yet again he failed to deliver it consistently.

Gallagher 6 It is hard to judge him as is clearly not a midfielder. At times he does some good things but sometimes is totally out of his depth. His defensive capabilities are not good enough to play in midfield. Clearly has some ability and needs a chance up front.

Howard 4 A pointless afternoon. His presence dictates our style of play but is lack of mobility is a real issue. Doesn't look capable of scoring which is a major concern.

Fryatt 8 Showed some real quality. Some excellent movement and perhaps should have scored.

Dyer 4 Only has one foot. No confidence at all. really can't believe he is ahead of Adams.

Waghorn 5 Tried hard but the service to him was poor. He has a good first touch but needs the ball played to him on the ground. His lack of experience is showing.

Kermogant 6 Not really on long enough but did enough to suggest he should get more time on the pitch. However, there is a big difference between starting and coming off the bench for a few minutes when the opposition defence is starting to tire.

Weale -7- Again pretty faultless.

Neilson -4- I want to like him because the effort is there but lack of quality with ball at his feet is showing badly, can only see the crowd getitng on his back more and more as season goes on.

Brown -5- Poor. Preston played round him easily at times.

Tunchev -6- Started poorly but got better I thought.

Berner -7- Consistent.

N'Guessen -4- Very poor.

Oakley -6- Had a decent first half but struggled to run the game.

Wellens -5- Not match fit, gamble that didn't pay off.

Gallagher -6- Tries to make things happen, didn't know where he was supposed to be playing second half.

Howard -6- I thought he started well and he was in for a good game but performance declined, winning headers is not enough at this level.

Fryatt -7- Always most likely, couple of good efforts.

Dyer -6- I seem to be a minority but I thought he did ok, looked like he could do something.

Waghorn -5- No real service, got a decent cross on him though.

Kermogant -6- Tidy. Decent touch and flick-ons had a bit of direction unlike Howards. On evidence of yesterday he should have replaced Howard instead of Waghorn.
