lifted*fox Posted 29 September 2009 Posted 29 September 2009 For all those suffering with the dodgy world stream, etc. This will be on Radio 5 Live Sports Extra. http://www.bbc.co.uk/5livesportsextra/commentaries/ 20:00 Middlesbrough v Leicester Uninterrupted commentary on Middlesbrough v Leicester City in the Championship. Thanks to peterborofox for making me/us aware.
ousefox Posted 29 September 2009 Posted 29 September 2009 Not sure whether to listen to this or Stringer?
lifted*fox Posted 29 September 2009 Author Posted 29 September 2009 I can't get BBC Radio Leicester in Northampton so this will have to do. I'm really annoyed by that stupid FoxesPlayer shit on the main site.
Heart-Shaped Fox Posted 29 September 2009 Posted 29 September 2009 I will be listening to 5 live extra. Nice to hear a non-biased commentary and I'm getting annoyed with Stringer.
Salieri Posted 29 September 2009 Posted 29 September 2009 If Matt Piper is co-commentating with Stringer then 5 Live Sports Extra it is. <_<
Heart-Shaped Fox Posted 29 September 2009 Posted 29 September 2009 If Matt Piper is co-commentating with Stringer then 5 Live Sports Extra it is. <_< My thoughts exactly.
ousefox Posted 29 September 2009 Posted 29 September 2009 If Matt Piper is co-commentating with Stringer then 5 Live Sports Extra it is. <_< It's John Sinclair today.
Heart-Shaped Fox Posted 29 September 2009 Posted 29 September 2009 It's John Sinclair today. Well I still don't fancy hearing him say 'to be honest' every few seconds.
Corky Posted 29 September 2009 Posted 29 September 2009 5 Live Extra sounds good, thanks for the info.
Guest ttfn Posted 29 September 2009 Posted 29 September 2009 Let's hope they've got slightly more idea than sky!
Fosse Boy Posted 29 September 2009 Posted 29 September 2009 Who's commentating for 5 Live Sports Extra?
Heart-Shaped Fox Posted 29 September 2009 Posted 29 September 2009 Craig Hignett is co-commentating. Played for both teams I think. I'm sure he did more for them than us though.
ousefox Posted 29 September 2009 Posted 29 September 2009 Played for both teams I think.I'm sure he did more for them than us though. Yeah he had 6 years at boro. Main highlight for us was that goal vs Arsenal.
Fosse Boy Posted 29 September 2009 Posted 29 September 2009 Played for both teams I think.I'm sure he did more for them than us though. He had six years with them. Played against us in the '97 League Cup final.
Joe. Posted 29 September 2009 Posted 29 September 2009 Off topic, but Sheehan's just scored for Oldham, Dodds for Port Vale, then they switched over to Craig Hignett.
Edmund Posted 29 September 2009 Posted 29 September 2009 Id rather to listen to our biased commentary than a M'boro love in
Heart-Shaped Fox Posted 29 September 2009 Posted 29 September 2009 Id rather to listen to our biased commentary than a M'boro love in True, Mark Clemmit is on 5live.
Daggers Posted 29 September 2009 Posted 29 September 2009 Mark Clemmit is the best thing about football these days: Intelligence, humour and knowledge.
marbelladave Posted 29 September 2009 Posted 29 September 2009 5 Live commentary is awful, just chatting amongst themselves, total bollox, seriously thinking of switching to stringer.
Budweiser Posted 29 September 2009 Posted 29 September 2009 5 Live commentary is awful, just chatting amongst themselves, total bollox, seriously thinking of switching to stringer. They are so boring!
Guest ttfn Posted 29 September 2009 Posted 29 September 2009 I think the commentary on 5Live's been good. The commentators have been fair and knowledgeable.
Corky Posted 29 September 2009 Posted 29 September 2009 I thought the commentary was good on 5 Live. All the goal updates, and to be fair they could only commentate on any action, and it sounded like they had quite a lot of time without serious action.
sdb Posted 29 September 2009 Posted 29 September 2009 yeah i was happy with 5 live, not their fault the game was a bit poo
