Uncle Albert Posted 14 October 2009 Posted 14 October 2009 Thought I would give it a match thread - because I can. Agbonlahor and Crouch are starting upfront tonight, hopefully both can get on the score sheet. Still cant see either of them budging Rooney and Heskey out the way for a start in South Africa. Would expect Lennon to get a full 90 tonight after he was substituted for Rio Ferdinand's costly mistake. Would like Carrick to stay in the centre with Lampard. Milner for the left wing as well you would think. Hopefully we can end the qualifiers with a hat full of goals and go through out of the European groups as the top goalscorers out of all the groups. Go for a 3-1 with Crouch - Agbonlahor - Lampard. In other news in our group Ukraine are beating Andorra 1-0 and Croatia are drawing 1-1 with Kazakstan. Come on Ukraine.
Brainy Posted 14 October 2009 Posted 14 October 2009 it's only just clicked that Croatia are about to miss out on the whole thing, ami right? Ukraine in the play offs?
maddog Posted 14 October 2009 Posted 14 October 2009 it's only just clicked that Croatia are about to miss out on the whole thing, ami right? Ukraine in the play offs? If they beat Andorra.
sdb Posted 14 October 2009 Posted 14 October 2009 Ukraine are almost there. I want England to win but I do not want Crouch or Agbonlahor to score. I think England play better without them and if they score (which I expect both to do against such pony opposition) then the public and media will start the 'play Crouch/Gabby' brigade. And it'll all end up in them moaning about Heskey, who's a real confidence player and things will slowly fall apart. I'm being serious here btw!
Samilktray Posted 14 October 2009 Posted 14 October 2009 What a horrible frontline Would much rather see D Bent and Carlton up front than them 2.
Edmund Posted 14 October 2009 Posted 14 October 2009 Ukraine link http://www.iraqgoals.net/ch2.html 3-0 now
Part Of The Crowd Posted 14 October 2009 Posted 14 October 2009 Croatia 1 - 1 with Kazakhstan Well played Ukraine, I'd say it's pretty much game over. In fact I reckon you should see if you can keep the same score, 2 - 0 because people might of bet on that scoreline. God damnit, as I type 3 - 0. No money for me

Part Of The Crowd Posted 14 October 2009 Posted 14 October 2009 You betting in play on betfair? Coral in Plymouth, I had the result at 2 - 0 with Shevchenko to score first. Didn't expect Andorra to fall apart so drastically in so short a space of time. It should be 5 - 0 but two goals have been disallowed for offside in 3 minutes. Andorra really are shite aren't they?
Edmund Posted 14 October 2009 Posted 14 October 2009 Coral in Plymouth, I had the result at 2 - 0 with Shevchenko to score first. Didn't expect Andorra to fall apart so drastically in so short a space of time. That's unlucky mate. Andorra really are shite aren't they? Yeah they are looking weak. I only caught one of those disallowed goals.
sdb Posted 14 October 2009 Posted 14 October 2009 What a horrible frontlineWould much rather see D Bent and Carlton up front than them 2. Would be an interesting partnership. Agreed about todays front two but expect they'll do well
lildave3 Posted 14 October 2009 Posted 14 October 2009 Agbonlahor and fooking Crouch. Anticipation for this fixture - gone. Hate watching Crouch.
Samilktray Posted 14 October 2009 Posted 14 October 2009 Agbonlahor and fooking Crouch.Anticipation for this fixture - gone. Hate watching Crouch. Horrible player. Why D Bent hasnt been given a chance in these 2 games I dont know.
Bert Posted 14 October 2009 Posted 14 October 2009 I more annoyed that SWP's playing ahead of Milner.
sdb Posted 14 October 2009 Posted 14 October 2009 Crouchy boy YES - Do it for England. He will, like he always does against PONY teams!! Bent should be there. Don't see Agbonlahor as an international player but that statement may well be rammed down my throat tonight. I think the Argentina game later is really where it's at.
Edmund Posted 14 October 2009 Posted 14 October 2009 Was just about to say what the hell is Zamora doing in the squad. It was Agbonlahor
lavrentis Posted 14 October 2009 Posted 14 October 2009 Mascots doing funny faces and winking
Darkzzz_ Posted 14 October 2009 Posted 14 October 2009 Agree. How Darren Bent isn't included is beyond me.
Part Of The Crowd Posted 14 October 2009 Posted 14 October 2009 The National Anthem at home games is just a joke now, the opposition fans are louder and there are about 10 times more England fans there
Samilktray Posted 14 October 2009 Posted 14 October 2009 Darren Bent would have 2 by now... at least.
Tommeh Posted 14 October 2009 Posted 14 October 2009 Until Bent (Darren or Marcus) comes on I'll stick to the pool table.
