If so a name or a link would be greatly appreciated, thanks.

there are no YHA's in Leicestershire... your best bet would be a bed and breakfast. millions of them about and they are probably the cheapest option for you...

any specific area you want to be staying in?

isn't there one in moira ? i know it has a derby postcode but it should still be technically in leicestershire

anyway it's still about 20 miles away though :)

Smack bang in the middle of Leicster i guess, i'll more than likely be on my own so want to be near everything. Even if the chick who is hanging around England with me is keen on coming to Leicester i would assume Leicester centre would still be the most likely.

the cheapest hotel is quite close to the middle of the city - short bus ride away and its the days inn at Leicester forest East - about 25 pounds a night

although the sky plaza is smack bang in the middle of the city and starts at about 35 quid a night

other than that, have a look at these - i cant vouch for any of them as i havnt stayed in them....

There is this which is very central 20 minutes walk into the city centre or short bus ride for 35 pounds a night and that includes a full English breakfast in the morning:

Thanks guys much apprciated been looking on google and found nothing but the travel lodge, which does seem reasonable.

All my flights are now booked, next thing is contiki tour then accomidation as the earlier I book the cheaper it will be.

Man up, get yourself some Special Brew and get your head down in Vicky Park.

If funds are low it will be a very real posibility.......except I can't stand the cold. Neither can my brother but that didn't stop him and my mate kipping on a beach in between days of the british open golf to save money

There's loads of bed and breakfast's in leicester which would cost half the price of the travelodge, if you need any more info, just let me know!!
