lou Posted 24 January 2010 Posted 24 January 2010 Stoke are just proving that sticking with the same manager works.......... on the whole!

Matt Posted 24 January 2010 Author Posted 24 January 2010 Rory Delap Arsene Wenger in a mood, whinging and miserable
Samilktray Posted 24 January 2010 Posted 24 January 2010 You have to admire Arsene Wenger, all the youngsters playing today and there still holding there own here. What a manager.
lildave3 Posted 24 January 2010 Posted 24 January 2010 Swear Emmanuel-Thomas played centre midfield for Blackpool. What on earth is he doing up top.
Matt Posted 24 January 2010 Author Posted 24 January 2010 All i'm saying is was that a free kick? If it was the other side of the line in the box would it have been a Penalty? No. Harsh foul, Same old Arsenal, Always cheating.

No. Harsh foul, Same old Arsenal, Always cheating. Cheating?! The ref gave a free-kick and they scored from it. Get over it.
Matt Posted 24 January 2010 Author Posted 24 January 2010 :laugh:Cheating?! The ref gave a free-kick and they scored from it. Get over it. Fair enough not cheating for that (They do cheat though), but always getting the rub of the green, would the ref have gave it if it was an Arsenal 'handball', What about the blatent Penalty the ref turned down for Stoke - Would have gave that if and Arsenal player went down in the box? Probably. Referee's ruining the game, AGAIN. (And i'm just saying what many people would be if it was Man Utd getting the decisions)

No. Harsh foul, Same old Arsenal, Always cheating. Who's particularly fussed, the sooner Stoke get knocked out the better Go Arsenal, great goal, even sweeter that it wasn't even a free kick Also, Outrageous that the cheapest adult ticket for this game is £25, and the most expensive £35

Chelsea v Arsenal?
Fosse Boy Posted 24 January 2010 Posted 24 January 2010 You wanna see a predictable top 4 final then? Chelsea v Arsenal? Agree. As much as I hate Stoke I'd rather they went through.
dandannieldanok Posted 24 January 2010 Posted 24 January 2010 You wanna see a predictable top 4 final then? Chelsea v Arsenal? Definitely, both sides play brilliant football. Would I want to see a final where 20 minutes of it is spent watching Rory Delap dry a ball with a towel? no thanks.
Samilktray Posted 24 January 2010 Posted 24 January 2010 I for one would much rather see a Chelsea vs Arsenal final, than Stoke against a Championship side or something, boring.
Matt Posted 24 January 2010 Author Posted 24 January 2010 Agree. As much as I hate Stoke I'd rather they went through. Don't get me wrong I don't want Stoke in the final or to win the F.A Cup, but i'd rather Arsenal were knocked out.
Ford Super Sunday Posted 24 January 2010 Posted 24 January 2010 You wanna see a predictable top 4 final then? Chelsea v Arsenal? Yeah, best players battling it out in a dull, defensive 0-0 tussle, fantastic entertainment. I do love a good penalty shoot-out.
Tilley Posted 24 January 2010 Posted 24 January 2010 Oh come on. Some people on this foum get carried on the, "ZOMG I HATE MODERN FOOTBALL" thing. As if anyone wants to see Stoke instead of Arsenal in the FA Cup final.

Except when 2 sides from the big 4 meet each other it's generally a pretty boring game because neither teams wants to open up and play or risk anything with silly mistakes. They should be good game in theory but whenever Super Sunday build these big games up their normally pretty boring, it's once in a blue mood you get an open, exciting game from those type of game.

I don't necessarily disagree with that, but look at the FA cup final of 2008. Billed to be one of the most exciting because of the lack of top 4 teams yet Pompey-Cardiff proved to be one of the dullest finals in history. If you want Stoke to go through at the expense of Arsenal then fine, I just can't fathom it myself. I despise Man Utd but I think even I'd want them to go through at the expense of anti-football Stoke.
