lildave3 Posted 25 January 2010 Posted 25 January 2010 In all fairness, the only reason I really wanted us to stay in was because we actually had a chance of getting reasonably far in the competition, what with Man Utd, Liverpool and now Arsenal going out... but Chelsea away now really means we most probably would have gone out so it's no big deal. It'll be a good weekend off having to play the FA Cup where Nige can have extra time sorting out the team. Unless of course we end up playing that weekend anyway cause the team in the Championship is also out... but either way, it's one less thing to distract the players. We've got Scunny at home that day.
Guest DavidJCW Posted 25 January 2010 Posted 25 January 2010 We've got Scunny at home that day. Ah well... at least it's at home.
Tilley Posted 2 February 2010 Posted 2 February 2010 Danny Butterfield scores 3 in 6 minutes after scoring 1 in 6 years. Palace 3-0 Wolves.
dandannieldanok Posted 2 February 2010 Posted 2 February 2010 Wolves are pathetic, they've let Danny Butterfield score a 6 minute hattrick. lol
Jimothy Posted 2 February 2010 Posted 2 February 2010 Danny Butterfield has scored a perfect hat-trick! I never thought I'd ever write that sentence!
Fosse Boy Posted 2 February 2010 Posted 2 February 2010 Palace mates are going nuts on facebook! Great work Butterfield!
dandannieldanok Posted 2 February 2010 Posted 2 February 2010 Yes then county, sod off Wigan you're an embarassment.
MC Prussian Posted 2 February 2010 Posted 2 February 2010 Notts County also through to the next round. Orgasmic. In a way.
dandannieldanok Posted 2 February 2010 Posted 2 February 2010 Tbf to Wigan they are losing to a bigger club.
Salieri Posted 2 February 2010 Posted 2 February 2010 Butterfield clearly loving his new role up front! Reminds me of Walshy for us, and Paul Warhurst when he was converted (temporarily) by Sheff Wed.
isaidno Posted 2 February 2010 Posted 2 February 2010 Watched the first hour of the Palace game then turned it off
CosbehFox Posted 2 February 2010 Posted 2 February 2010 What on earth. Was it just me who thought Stearman was truly woeful on Butterfields second and third goals. Positional sense was dreadful. Hes no left-back.
dandannieldanok Posted 3 February 2010 Posted 3 February 2010 5,519 attendance at the DW stadium last night Wigan are such a pathetic tinpot club.
Samilktray Posted 3 February 2010 Posted 3 February 2010 5,519 attendance at the DW stadium last night Wigan are such a pathetic tinpot club. Who are playing in the Premiership, I'm sure there bothered.
dandannieldanok Posted 3 February 2010 Posted 3 February 2010 Who are playing in the Premiership, I'm sure there bothered. Of course they're not bothered, there is no fans there to be bothered about it.
leicesterfox86 Posted 3 February 2010 Posted 3 February 2010 Anyone give a monkeys about whether Leeds get through tonight? Personally I'd like to see them win against Spurs. As these stats on their recent form show, the FA Cup run is actually not good for them overall!! Which, as someone who would like to see them mess things up in the league, can only be a good thing! One thing for sure is that Spurs won't be relishing the trip.

surrifox Posted 3 February 2010 Posted 3 February 2010 Up the Eagles!!! And the Times report this morning says that the win is worth 1/2 million quid to CP for getting a televised tie with Villa in the last 16. Presumably a tie with chelsea with bigger gates and higher prices would be around 10-15% more- so our shiteness in the last few mins at Cardiff was quite costly
Corky Posted 3 February 2010 Posted 3 February 2010 Well played County, trip to Fulham next, bring in some money.
