Matt Posted 15 May 2010 Author Posted 15 May 2010 "And here comes John Utaka...Utaka by name...and erm he's a forward" Think about it Clive
nothin2seehere Posted 15 May 2010 Posted 15 May 2010 Piss off. The "challenge" from Terry was hideus. Crize cu.nt he is, Real shame his metatarsal isn't fvcked. Certainly looked - even in the replays - that Terry barged him sure, but the way he reacted on the floor didn't seem worthy of the challenge. My bad if there was more contact than I happened to see. Shouldn't be too shocked at the dramatisation of some "professionals" though.
dandannieldanok Posted 15 May 2010 Posted 15 May 2010 Deary me, Lampard and Boateng trying to wrestle Kermorgant's crown off him for the worst penalty of the week.
Matt Posted 15 May 2010 Author Posted 15 May 2010 Kermorgant > Lampard. Atleast Kermorgant gets em on target.
ScouseFox Posted 15 May 2010 Posted 15 May 2010 I hate the way ITVs man of the match, every game, is whoever scores.
ScouseFox Posted 15 May 2010 Posted 15 May 2010 Michael Brown is an absolute tosser. Agreed, but can't blame him for taking a disliking to Drogba or Ashley Cole to be fair.
dandannieldanok Posted 15 May 2010 Posted 15 May 2010 That was a pretty dull spectacle even though Chelsea hit the woodwork 5 times and created plenty of chances. It was too one-sided as we all knew it would be.
Bert Posted 15 May 2010 Posted 15 May 2010 Agreed, but can't blame him for taking a disliking to Drogba or Ashley Cole to be fair. Who does he think he is though? He's done nothing in the game compared to the three players he was trying to give it large with. (Lampard, Drogba, Cole)
Koke Posted 15 May 2010 Posted 15 May 2010 Drogba's love-in with Wembley continues. I'm happy Chelsea won.
Frost Posted 15 May 2010 Posted 15 May 2010 The FA Cup doesn't look like it means much to the Chelsea fans. Suprising really, Would have loved Pompey to win...
ScouseFox Posted 15 May 2010 Posted 15 May 2010 Who does he think he is though? He's done nothing in the game compared to the three players he was trying to give it large with. (Lampard, Drogba, Cole) You're right, he's not really done enough to be such a big head. But I've done nothing in the game, and if those three were running down time in the corner, i'd get fooking pissed off aswell
Corky Posted 15 May 2010 Posted 15 May 2010 Well, pretty comfortable for Chelsea in the end. Good free-kick to win it.
CosbehFox Posted 15 May 2010 Posted 15 May 2010 Well the sterile celebrations, Cole's pre-match interview and Terry with another disgraceful, dirty piece of play proves Chelsea have got a long way to go before being enjoyed by the neutrals as the press seemed to be directed over the past week.
Fosse Boy Posted 15 May 2010 Posted 15 May 2010 I really don't like Chelsea. None of their "fans" in the bar stopped to watch them pick up the trophy, and Drogba is such a cunt it's untrue. Two missed pens in a Cup final, who'd have thunk it?
Peter File Posted 15 May 2010 Posted 15 May 2010 Quite a poor quality final, two missed penalties, both sides missed clear cut chances and it got a bit ragged at times. It won't be remembered as being a great final, I doubt we'll even be talking about it come Monday. Even Chelsea's goal was down to poor defending imo. That wall was poor, O'Hara jumped out of the way of the ball? and James initially went the wrong way and gave himself too much to do Chelsea did boss the game for long periods so on the balance of play they do deserve it. Shame it wasn't a great end of season spectacle.
FoxyPV Posted 15 May 2010 Posted 15 May 2010 Can't be happy about this - hate Chelsea too much. Drogba, Terry, Cashley, Lampard are all a bunch of cvnts - but don't like Pompey either.
Fosse Boy Posted 15 July 2010 Posted 15 July 2010 http://www.guardian.co.uk/football/2010/jul/15/fa-cup-replays-winter-break Nice to see the FA thinking of the rich clubs as usual eh?
C-man Posted 15 July 2010 Posted 15 July 2010 Hang on, the FA are suggesting this rather than the Premier League? Talk about bending over nicely for them.
Guest Bilo Posted 15 July 2010 Posted 15 July 2010 Clueless FA as usual. Replays are often thrilling matches, especially if a gaint killing is in the offing. Now we're just going to carry on playing until that pesky underdog is killed off by the poor, hard done by, collection of Premiership billionaires. Twats.
The Doctor Posted 15 July 2010 Posted 15 July 2010 So they want to turn the FA Cup into an almost exact replica of the league cup. Why couldn't they just start the season a week earlier, end a week later and have a weeks break either side of christmas if they want a winter break that badly?
Heart-Shaped Fox Posted 15 July 2010 Posted 15 July 2010 If there were no replays, that would mean extra time and penalties on a Saturday afternoon. That would just feel wrong.
Corky Posted 15 July 2010 Posted 15 July 2010 Replays are part of the tradition of the FA Cup, hope they are kept in.
