Matt Posted 24 January 2010 Author Posted 24 January 2010 had few quid on 4-2 when it was 1-1 so 1 more please City Odds? How much you won (Currently). Hope it stays this way for you.
Sparky Posted 24 January 2010 Posted 24 January 2010 Got 14-1 whilst it was 1-1, Only couple of quid on but a wins a win(IF IT STAYS THE SAME!). Goes well with yesterdays £440 after getting 3 out of 4 correct scores right
Simi Posted 24 January 2010 Posted 24 January 2010 City fans are amazing. Agreed, seems they've got some new decent songs about United, especially Glazer! MALCOLM GLAZER IS A BLUE, IS A BLUE IS A BLUE!
Finnegan Posted 24 January 2010 Posted 24 January 2010 Agreed, seems they've got some new decent songs about United, especially Glazer!MALCOLM GLAZER IS A BLUE, IS A BLUE IS A BLUE! I find it amusingly ironic, though, that they're singing the Everton chant about "the city's all ours, fuck off back to Norway, the city's all ours" when they themselves are likely to start picking up a healthy stream of international glory supporters to fund the rise of the club in the next few years.
Matt Posted 24 January 2010 Author Posted 24 January 2010 Chelsea v Cardiff. Bollocks, That could have been us. On the other hand, Perhaps it wouldn't have been our year even if we managed to get past Cardiff!
sbfox Posted 24 January 2010 Posted 24 January 2010 Hahaha! This is why I love the FA cup. Bit annoying about Chelski, but no big deal.
Brainy Posted 24 January 2010 Posted 24 January 2010 were we actually guaranteed to be Cardiff's number though?
Dylan Posted 24 January 2010 Posted 24 January 2010 ****inn Predictable! ... We go outt and they get Chelsea Away!
Matt Posted 24 January 2010 Author Posted 24 January 2010 were we actually guaranteed to be Cardiff's number though? If it was a replay, which it was looking like yesterday till our defence decided the game had finished and stopped defending, I'd have thought we'd have the same number. Dunno.
Ford Super Sunday Posted 24 January 2010 Posted 24 January 2010 It's not necessarily the same number, it's the principle of the fact that the moment we get knocked out, the team that knocks us out gets a top tie. Galling, to say the least.
StanSP Posted 24 January 2010 Posted 24 January 2010 I bet it wouldn't have been Chelsea though for us. Would have been somewhere shitty like Southampton. How are the numbers for each team worked out?
Joe. Posted 24 January 2010 Posted 24 January 2010 Southampton v Portsmouth- cracking tie. My Southampton supporting mate's absolutely buzzing for it.
Fosse Boy Posted 24 January 2010 Posted 24 January 2010 Sod's law. Oh well. Saints-Pompey and possibly Wolves-Villa. Two decent ties. Good work from Bobby Moore's missus.
StanSP Posted 24 January 2010 Posted 24 January 2010 Southampton vs Pompey definitely gonna be on TV. Think if Wolves win their game with Villa, that will get on TV. And Chelsea vs Cardiff might be too.
lildave3 Posted 24 January 2010 Posted 24 January 2010 I bet it wouldn't have been Chelsea though for us. Would have been somewhere shitty like Southampton. How are the numbers for each team worked out? Pretty sure it's the number of the tie, I think. Like the winner of Pompey/Southampton will have the last number next time. I think. Anyway, that was bloody annoying.
Heart-Shaped Fox Posted 24 January 2010 Posted 24 January 2010 Absolutely typical. Least you wont miss Sheff Wed away! Though we will most probably lose that anyway.
Guest DavidJCW Posted 25 January 2010 Posted 25 January 2010 In all fairness, the only reason I really wanted us to stay in was because we actually had a chance of getting reasonably far in the competition, what with Man Utd, Liverpool and now Arsenal going out... but Chelsea away now really means we most probably would have gone out so it's no big deal. It'll be a good weekend off having to play the FA Cup where Nige can have extra time sorting out the team. Unless of course we end up playing that weekend anyway cause the team in the Championship is also out... but either way, it's one less thing to distract the players.
