Ford Super Sunday Posted 21 November 2009 Posted 21 November 2009 Sorry of this has been posted elsewhere. Just to say I saw the advert in the prog for a 125 year anniversary brick, and I think I moved faster than Road Runner to get to my laptop, but it's £50, and that's a lot of money. Does anyone think it's worth getting one. I will rarely ever even see it, because I never go past the East Stand, but i'm thinking long term. Ugh, decisions decisions. Also, they are taking pre-orders for the Foxes&Fossile to be released in August, but they're trying to process my payment now, rather than when it is shipped DOUBLE UGH!
Webbo Posted 21 November 2009 Posted 21 November 2009 We got a brick for my Dad when the stadium first opened because he'd just died. Sometimes when I'm down the ticket office on a non-match day I go and take a look. Well worth it in my opinion.

That's the thing - if it's in memory of a loved one or something then you will take the time to go and see it and remember happy times following City together but if it's for yourself then you probably wont bother unless you sit close to where it is. I've got one near the kop turnstiles from when the stadium first opened and while it's nice to know it's there and will be for years to come, if I see it more than once a season then it's a shock.
Ford Super Sunday Posted 21 November 2009 Author Posted 21 November 2009 Here Laddy I've had copious amounts of immature fun at the entering what I could put
Gaffer Posted 21 November 2009 Posted 21 November 2009 Me and my old man have a brick, on the Kop stand. Part of our pre-match ritual, we had a mate of ours who'd lost a loved one, go and visit that brick too. All depends on what you want to do with it, but it's well worth it in my opinion.
Guest Mee-9 Posted 21 November 2009 Posted 21 November 2009 Cousins got one, We always have a glance at it when we arrive early at the ground

Houdini Logic Posted 21 November 2009 Posted 21 November 2009 In all seriousness is there any vetting process for the message? If not i'd close the thread and hope no rival club has picked up on this. I'd certainly pay £50 for a brick on Derby/Forest's stadium
Unit Posted 21 November 2009 Posted 21 November 2009 where it says order replica brick, do you get a copy one for the same price?
PAULCFC Posted 21 November 2009 Posted 21 November 2009 Ordered one for my lad for xmas, considering wether to get one done with my dad's and my name on it.Says on the OS that they'll be kept there for at least 10 years,so when you look at it like that a fiver a year isn't bad.
Bluefoxtim Posted 21 November 2009 Posted 21 November 2009 There is one in the South-East corner that says 'R Slicker'. My dad has pointed it out EVERY single game since the stadium opened. It's like a ritual now.
PAULCFC Posted 21 November 2009 Posted 21 November 2009 where it says order replica brick, do you get a copy one for the same price? No mate it's an extra £40 for the replica......though what you'd do with it i don't know!
