C-man Posted 23 November 2009 Posted 23 November 2009 We all love seeing a good away (or home) end going absolutely bananas after a late goal, particularly when its your own. My favourite home City celebration is, unsurprisingly, Stevie's goal against Leeds last season. Our Kop actually looked amazing that day. I still haven't seen the ball hit the back of the net. Away from home I've seen some good City ends. Particularly Hereford (after Lloyd) and Oldham last season amongst others. From videos of City, I seem to remember seeing a ridiculous Leicester end at Loftus Road when Joe Walters scored against QPR in the FA Cup in 1974, but can't find it anywhere Away from City, and the inspiration for the thread is seeing Dundee Utd's home end after their winner (4.30 onwards) against Celtic yesterday,
dandannieldanok Posted 23 November 2009 Posted 23 November 2009 When we beat Reading in the FA cup in 2005 (maybe), everyone went quite potty then. When we beat Charlton in the same cup run it looked pretty mental but unfortunately I wasn't there.
Asha Posted 23 November 2009 Posted 23 November 2009 Saw Dundee United on Sky Sports News this morning, looked beautiful.
Matt Posted 23 November 2009 Posted 23 November 2009 Still got goosebumps watching that, I don't even have the sound on or anything. Amazing, Love it, Could watch it all day.
C-man Posted 23 November 2009 Author Posted 23 November 2009 Could do with some of the European League buffs to get involved in this. I'm sure they'll have some videos to show!
BoneDog Posted 23 November 2009 Posted 23 November 2009 We played Arsenal (I think) in either 1991 or 92 in league cup (I think) one night. It was on Central Sports Special that night and when David Kelly scored at the kop it looked amazing on tele. Good old surge while in mid air. I used to have it on vhs but not seen it for years and cant find the goal on net.
Mike the Metal Ed Posted 23 November 2009 Posted 23 November 2009 Maxi at the Dons, Clemence at Forest and both Kisnorbo's equaliser and Hendo's penalty save at home to Villa were special.
Part Of The Crowd Posted 23 November 2009 Posted 23 November 2009 Leeds against us this season, I know I don't like them but they went fooking insane
Simi Posted 23 November 2009 Posted 23 November 2009 Oldham away was special, if davieG still has the clip of Howard celebrating, it looks amazing as a gif.
Matt Posted 23 November 2009 Posted 23 November 2009 Maxi at the Dons Yeah that was good, I fell down a couple of rows of seats celebrating that. Or any of the goals v Chelsea in the Carling Cup a few years ago, Think I fell down a row or two of seats that night too.
Edmund Posted 23 November 2009 Posted 23 November 2009 This thread title doesn't live up too it's reputation. I was expecting to see some ghetto in Sheffield rioting.
Fosse Boy Posted 23 November 2009 Posted 23 November 2009 Class thread. Millllllllllllllllllllllllllllllll at West Ham... Juve against Atalanta... Saint-Etienne (not great but insane crowd surge about 8 or 9 seconds in)...
Tommeh Posted 24 November 2009 Posted 24 November 2009 Holy Shit. I'd pay an awful lot to rewind time and be in that. All the Chels ones were taken down Ifrom youtube I think, shame as they were top notch. Best I've seen live was Leeds Kop when Snodgrass equalised last season or Millwall's goal in the league although that was more like a stampede over to L1
Tommeh Posted 24 November 2009 Posted 24 November 2009 The MILLLLLLLLLLLLLLLL on 55 secs. On that Hammers-Lions one
Fosse Boy Posted 24 November 2009 Posted 24 November 2009 The MILLLLLLLLLLLLLLLL on 55 secs. On that Hammers-Lions one  at the West Ham fan with the poor "waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaankeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeers" response!
Podge Posted 24 November 2009 Posted 24 November 2009 That reminds me of the clown car gag, I can't believe how long that charge goes on for, where are they all coming from?
Alexikokopops Posted 24 November 2009 Posted 24 November 2009 Didn't that goal win the title for Arsenal over Liverpool?
Fosse Boy Posted 24 November 2009 Posted 24 November 2009 Didn't that goal win the title for Arsenal over Liverpool? Then he went and signed for Liverpool two years later!
ramboacdc Posted 25 November 2009 Posted 25 November 2009 reminds me of videos of the crowds reaction in bill shankleys years at liverpool
