samlcfc Posted 4 December 2009 Posted 4 December 2009 Id take an on form Cesc Fabregas over all of them. Anyone would be mad not to take him the way hes playing at the moment
Sly Posted 4 December 2009 Posted 4 December 2009 Simply put and my original angle on this was that you can't really judge players of the ability of Xavi, Gerrard, Iniesta, Alonso, Lampard etc and state, X is better than Y. On any given day, any one of those could out perform the other. Their isn't a mile of difference between the best player in the world and the world class players. Football is a team game and it's about a combination of players. Remember, their is no I in team! If you put Messi in at Peterbourgh, would it make them a much better team? Maybe, maybe not, you've got to have the people on his wave length in the first place to recieve that cross, judge his run and have a bloke that mows the lawn and lays the turf flat enough, so the ball doesn't get stuck in a rut when he's trying to dribble.
Finnegan Posted 4 December 2009 Posted 4 December 2009 Id take an on form Cesc Fabregas over all of them. Hard to argue with that at the moment. Fabregas in the right frame of mind is just complete and total genius. Would take him over Stevie G.
Hugo Sanchez Posted 4 December 2009 Posted 4 December 2009 Hard to argue with that at the moment. Fabregas in the right frame of mind is just complete and total genius. Would take him over Stevie G. He's the best player in the world by a mile.
Finnegan Posted 4 December 2009 Posted 4 December 2009 He's the best player in the world by a mile. Come off it. He's no Dave Edwards.
