Leicester Rule! Posted 10 December 2009 Posted 10 December 2009 Which former Premier League player has won a World Cup, European Championships, Uefa Cup and Cup Winners Cup, and finished as the season's highest scorer in a top European League, but has never won a domestic league title?
I_miss_wembley_finals Posted 10 December 2009 Posted 10 December 2009 Youri Djorkaeff.....althought not sure about the top goal scorer thing. My other French shout would be Stephane Guivarc'h but don't think he was in their Euro winning squad?
JoeyB Posted 10 December 2009 Posted 10 December 2009 is it an ex leicester player then seein as its in the leicester forum?
Sly Posted 10 December 2009 Posted 10 December 2009 Vieri? im going to go with robhinio? The last cup winners cup was 10 years ago.
Jimothy Posted 10 December 2009 Posted 10 December 2009 Is this one of those questions that doesn't have an answer and we just spend hours trying to find a non-exsistent player? Or it is another one where Anelka is meant to be the answer but the question master got it wrong? Anyway where it says European Championships at the top, is that European Cup/Champions League or the Euros as in internationals?
Hitesh Posted 10 December 2009 Posted 10 December 2009 Youri Djorkaeff.....althought not sure about the top goal scorer thing. My other French shout would be Stephane Guivarc'h but don't think he was in their Euro winning squad? I'm going for him but the only doubt as you say is the top scorer thing!
Manwell Pablo Posted 10 December 2009 Posted 10 December 2009 It's the worst question ever, but I reckon it's Stephan Guivarch.
Ultra Posted 10 December 2009 Posted 10 December 2009 The nearest I can find to this is Franck Leboeuf. But what's his connection with Leicester?
Ultra Posted 10 December 2009 Posted 10 December 2009 It's the worst question ever, but I reckon it's Stephan Guivarch. Guivarc'h won a league title with Rangers, according to Wiki.

The Doctor Posted 10 December 2009 Posted 10 December 2009 Guivarc'h won a league title with Rangers, according to Wiki. the question said top European league Edit : whoops. That was top goalscorer. Never mind.
Jordan Posted 10 December 2009 Posted 10 December 2009 Djorkaeff had a sensational career. He played the last two years of his career over here, and despite some injuries (which especially slowed him down a bit in his final year), he was a joy to watch--especially in the first season (2005) when he was the best player on the team by far even at age 37.
