Alan Johnson was sort of funny and despite the spelling/typing errors you just about managed to pull off being clever. Unfortunately, pretending to be stupid (or at least, type like being stupid) is much harder than you realise. You're obviously not some street kid because you type and speak very, very much like some sad little middle class boy trying his very best to be street. Karl is great banter down the pub but he is prone to be repetitive and a little off the mark on FT sometimes (clunge, anyone?) I personally didn't think Johnson was Karl but anything's possible. Though, like Ched said, AJ was certainly popular.
