Lillehamring Posted 22 December 2009 Posted 22 December 2009 He is isn't he? For Cardiff Blues. dunno, i was just going on the 'former' reference in the story... it's good that he feels he can be honest about his sexuality, but do we really need to know, does it really matter? isn't it enough that he's a good sports man and a seemingly decent bloke...
Father Ted Posted 22 December 2009 Posted 22 December 2009 I bet he loves it when he's at the bottom of a ruck...
Uncle Albert Posted 22 December 2009 Posted 22 December 2009 I bet he loves it when he's at the bottom of a ruck... I just hope Gareth Thomas has given you and NSLL the confidence to come out of the closet and for you two to both admit your a pair of little bummers.
Father Ted Posted 22 December 2009 Posted 22 December 2009 I just hope Gareth Thomas has given you and NSLL the confidence to come out of the closet and for you two to both admit your a pair of little bummers. Yeah, me and Stevie G.
Uncle Albert Posted 22 December 2009 Posted 22 December 2009 Yeah, me and Stevie G. Fairplay, at least you have now openly admitted you are gay. Least Gerrard still has a bird to fall back on in Alex Curran, all you have is NSLL.
Father Ted Posted 22 December 2009 Posted 22 December 2009 Fairplay, at least you have now openly admitted you are gay. Least Gerrard still has a bird to fall back on in Alex Curran, all you have is NSLL. Yes, I am really happy. Hmmm... Alex Curran, sounds like a man tbh.
Finnegan Posted 22 December 2009 Posted 22 December 2009 Fantastic. Let's honour a landmark in sporting politics, tolerance and equality by turning the thread homophobic. Well done boys. Sigh.
Uncle Albert Posted 22 December 2009 Posted 22 December 2009 Fantastic. Let's honour a landmark in sporting politics, tolerance and equality by turning the thread homophobic. Well done boys.Sigh. It's called having a joke, jesus christ, if this was an English person who came out then you wouldnt be arsed if we made jokes. Hardly a landmark we have known Ashley Cole, Jermaine Jenas and Sol Campbell all bat for the other side.
Finnegan Posted 22 December 2009 Posted 22 December 2009 So I can say what I want about black people as long as I'm "having a joke?" And as far as I'm concerned his nationality is irrelevant and so is whether or not Ashley Cole, Sol Campbell and Jermaine Jenas are gay or not. What's landmark is the fact that Alfie has admitted it.

Yeah alright but I am glad you have got on your moral high ground now me and Father Ted have had a 'joke' when there have been others in this thread who have made 'jokes'.
Asha Posted 22 December 2009 Posted 22 December 2009 It's called having a joke Having a joke , you're about as 'funny as aids', as you always put it.
Uncle Albert Posted 22 December 2009 Posted 22 December 2009 Having a joke , you're about as 'funny as aids', as you always put it. In your opinion, which to put it frankly I care as much about as I do you, which is not alot.
Finnegan Posted 22 December 2009 Posted 22 December 2009 Was out doing my Christmas shopping if it matters!

Good input chaps, there is hope for those sportsmen who are gay to come out without fear of homophobic bigots attacking them! I just hope Gareth Thomas has given you and NSLL the confidence to come out of the closet and for you two to both admit your a pair of little bummers. I bet he loves it when he's at the bottom of a ruck... Or maybe there isn't. Work to be done.
Daggers Posted 22 December 2009 Author Posted 22 December 2009 Fantastic. Let's honour a landmark in sporting politics, tolerance and equality by turning the thread homophobic. Well done boys. Sigh. I could have predicted every single name when I started the thread. They are hysterical though - I've never seen such tired old comments, limp innuendo and dodgy irony used to such brilliant effect. I'm betting that if any of them don't currently earn a mint writing for ITV then they will do shortly.
Father Ted Posted 22 December 2009 Posted 22 December 2009 Having a joke , you're about as 'funny as aids', as you always put it. About as funny as footpath erosion in the national parks of Kenya.
Father Ted Posted 22 December 2009 Posted 22 December 2009 Or maybe there isn't. Work to be done. Cheer up Biggins.

Samilktray Posted 22 December 2009 Posted 22 December 2009 And still I see no changes, wake up in the morning and I ask myself, is life worth living should I blast myself?
Father Ted Posted 22 December 2009 Posted 22 December 2009 And still I see no changes, wake up in the morning and I ask myself, is life worth living should I blast myself? Jerk.
Head Honcho Posted 22 December 2009 Posted 22 December 2009 What a load of old fooking twaddle! If he'd have had the courage to come out when he was at the top of his career then maybe I could've had some admiration for him doing it, and other gay sportsmen may have had the courage to come out too, but to do it at this stage of his career when it's not even a bloody secret in these parts is just, well I don't know, what is it and for that matter what is the point! You can bang on all you like about it being courageous but the sheer fact that he's tormented by his homosexuality which was evident from his breakdown means he's not totally convinced that homosexuality is morally right. Good luck to the guy though I've always had a lot of time for him and on the many times I've seen him out and about in Cardiff he's always been a gentleman. ...................unlike that twat Henson!
lou Posted 22 December 2009 Posted 22 December 2009 No offence but judging from that pic at the start of this thread he needed to be gay as no self respecting woman would go anywhere near the Fugly git Good luck to him though
Cat Burger Posted 22 December 2009 Posted 22 December 2009 Ahh what a painful allegory this thread is! Sport and society in general are not ready... Education, education, education.
Zingari Posted 22 December 2009 Posted 22 December 2009 No offence but judging from that pic at the start of this thread he needed to be gay as no self respecting woman would go anywhere near the Fugly git Good luck to him though i often wonder what women find so attractive in rich and famous sportsmen
