Hey,

I can't be of much help I'm afraid as I live coast side of Ipswich on the outskirts. However, if just been outside and measured 15cm. It's been snowing all evening and due for more overnight. I won't be going to sixth-form tomorrow and I don't think my Dad will be able to get to work. If there are any B roads or worse involved in your journey then I wouldn't risk it. How dedicated are you to your job? :P

Ah, ok - well thanks for the update. Yes, definitely roads worse than B-roads. As for dedicated to my job..... oh yes, very, very dedicated.:whistle::P

Hope you find someone to do your interview - I'd offer but I'd be utterly shite at it.

Nothing is more demeaning than being associated with Steve Claridge - the bloke is a complete tool. How many posts do I need to get rid of his name from my profile stuff <<<----

Sent mate.

Oh, and Super Steve is with you until you get up to 100 posts I think.

By the way, score prediction is 1-1 for Sunday. I also think we're being underestimated cos of our position in the league. I look forward to seeing some surprised Leicester fans on Sunday as they see an Ipswich side run rings round their players. :P

He looks a complete pleb in that photo with his shinpad hanging out. I noticed last time I was at your sorry excuse for a stadium that there's a huge banner of Gary Linekar...I'd cry if I went on Sunday and saw that Claridge photo enlarged.

The way he perfects the comb-over on the FLS is incredible!

He'll score on Sunday.

Why are you here if you're just going to try and wind everybody up? waste of time signing up really, surprised you can type with that many fingers.

I loved Stevie Claridge, especially when he Shinned one in to get us in the Premier league and then scored to win the carling Cup or whatever it was called that year. :chant:

Claridge & Marshall were 2 of the smartest dressed players players on the pitch. ;0)

Game On

Posted on: Fri 08 Jan 2010

City hereby confirm that the Coca-Cola Championship match against Ipswich down this Sunday will take place unless weather conditions change dramatically between now and kick-off.

Leicester City have received numerous enquiries from supporters asking whether Sunday's match against Ipswich Town is still on because of the adverse weather conditions affecting most of the country.

The pitch is in perfect condition and playable thanks to our dedicated groundsmen and under soil heating system - the team used it for training this morning. The stands are also in good condition and the club has taken every precaution to make sure the match can take place.

The area around the Walkers Stadium is also safe with only minor patches of snow and ice. The club staff are ready to make sure the surrounding area and all the car parks are in the best possible state prior to the match.

If the game was to be played today, it would go ahead. Should conditions change, we will do everything in our power to make sure it will not be called off. The club have 2,5 tons of salt and grit in store to be used on the pavement and everything is in place for the match to be played. Tickets for the game are still available and we are looking forward to seeing all supporters at the Walkers on Sunday.

Should the weather conditions change dramatically between now and kick-off, Leicester City will liaise closely with the Leicestershire police to ensure the maintenance of a safe environment. Should the match be called off, we will use our communication channels to notify all supporters as early as possible.
