AoWW Posted 6 January 2010 Posted 6 January 2010 Was that a hint at you volunteering to provide the goods Walshie? You're either desperate to see him eat shit, or you just have a fetish Er, no. Er, neither. Would just love to see him get him comeuppance. She's a scat movie star. I think I can safely say that it's extremely unlikely I'd be a movie star in any guise.

ousefox Posted 6 January 2010 Posted 6 January 2010 By sunday we will be 3 games behind most of the other championship sides. It's quite an important weekend with WBA vs Forest and Cardiff vs Blackpool so we need a win so that we can hopefully make up ground on Cardiff and Forest. 1-0 Oakley
Guest Mee-9 Posted 6 January 2010 Posted 6 January 2010 If Howard ever scores another hat-trick for us again i will eat my own shit This is going in my sig. So that when he does, You'll have to do it
Guest Bilo Posted 7 January 2010 Posted 7 January 2010 2-1 win for City. Fryatt and Dyer scoring the goals as Keane gets a right mardy on after the game.
Guest Bilo Posted 7 January 2010 Posted 7 January 2010 One thing I will say though, this game represents a chance to strengthen our position in the play-off places. Some tough games for the teams around us this weekend. West Brom v Nottm Forest (FRI) - Forest's unbeaten away record under serious threat here. ----------------------------------- Cardiff v Blackpool - Whatever the result, one or both of our play-off rivals are dropping points here. Middlesbrough v Swansea - Middlesbrough slowly improving, a toughie for Swansea Watford v Sheffield United - As we and Forest (who needed an extremely fortuitous bottling from the referee to grab a point) can testify, Vicarage Road is no easy place to go. That's if all the games even go ahead of course. We have a real opportunity to capitalise on some tough games for those around us here, it's vital we capitalise with a win and I can see Pearson setting up a very positive side looking for the win.
Jiggers the Fox Posted 7 January 2010 Posted 7 January 2010 do you think the fact its on a sunday will boost the attendance or reduce it??
Viper7513 Posted 7 January 2010 Posted 7 January 2010 Even with the weather maybe having a factor on attendance, i think it will still be a good turn out Also i think a few goals will be scored, going for a 3 - 2 win to Leicester
lovelcfc Posted 7 January 2010 Posted 7 January 2010 hi leicester should beat ipswich but ipswich are on a good run but it woukd be a great 3 points

We can really push on with all these games in hand. Can do with both listed games being a draw.
john_lcfc Posted 7 January 2010 Posted 7 January 2010 Unglamourous weather, poor opposition, poorly supported opposition, overpriced tickets, just after christmas, Sunday kick off= struggle to get 20,000 in my opinion.
maddog Posted 7 January 2010 Author Posted 7 January 2010 This.We can really push on with all these games in hand. Can do with both listed games being a draw. Or lose them all and find ourselves outside the playoffs and miles behind the leaders. These games in hand could be a blessing, could be crucial to our season and earn us a playoff place. Or the exact opposite. Maybe the players will relax too much because they will have so many games in hand, and we will end up losing games that are played at the same time as everyone else.
ipswichfan Posted 7 January 2010 Posted 7 January 2010 Hi all. Ipswich fan here obviously. I'm about to write a match preview for the game, just wanted to know the most up to date weather from a member who is near the ground. I know your club is confident the game will go ahead but in Ipswich at the moment we've had an unexpected snow storm, so I don't know if it's the same for you.... Cheers. P.s. I may need an interview with a fan (A member did one for me on here for the reverse fixture back in August).
john_lcfc Posted 7 January 2010 Posted 7 January 2010 I'm can see no reason why the game won't go ahead. There certainly wont be any issues with the pitch or stadium we have undersoil heating, covers and a good groundstaff team It's just the surrounding roads but I know from the mercury the council have assured City and Tigers they will grit the roads to ensure both fixtures go ahead so it should be all systems go. It's frosty over here but there isnt a huge amount of snow around, mainly slushy crap!! How many fans do you anticipate bringing?
ipswichfan Posted 7 January 2010 Posted 7 January 2010 Probably 800-900. Complete guess, weather conditions might cull a few. Cheers.

I may need an interview with a fan (A member did one for me on here for the reverse fixture back in August). Apologies for hijacking the thread with a weather query! Hi, ipswichfan, and welcome... I'm just over the border into Norfolk but am curious to know what the weather is like in Ipswich. Have you just had the snow? Any idea what the A14 towards Bury is like? I'm trying to make the decision whether I'll try and go to work tomorrow (I work in Bury, live near Diss/Attleborough) but it's totally borderline at the moment. Several miles on back roads before I even pick up an A-road is making me more than a little hesitant. Guess I'll have to see how things are tomorrow morning.
Guest Mee-9 Posted 7 January 2010 Posted 7 January 2010 Probably 800-900. Complete guess, weather conditions might cull a few. Cheers. To be honest mate, It'll go ahead, providing that the Ipswich fans/team are able to get to the ground. The council will throw loads of grit around.
ipswichfan Posted 7 January 2010 Posted 7 January 2010 Hey, I can't be of much help I'm afraid as I live coast side of Ipswich on the outskirts. However, if just been outside and measured 15cm. It's been snowing all evening and due for more overnight. I won't be going to sixth-form tomorrow and I don't think my Dad will be able to get to work. If there are any B roads or worse involved in your journey then I wouldn't risk it. How dedicated are you to your job?
