StanSP Posted 19 January 2010 Posted 19 January 2010 So players and fans and other staff will have to travel down to Cardiff for the Cup match and the PP League match.Fooking Brilliant <_< The only way i won't be annoyed is if we win both. Should be lose the cup game i will be annoyed, if we draw the cup game i will be annoyed because we will need to fit another replay in. Then as we may have won the cup game i will be annoyed if we draw or lose the League game because we will then drop points in the League. And as we would have done them in the Cup game i will want us to do them in the League. I can't see anyway i won't be annoyed by this. I can. Because you said it yourself . I know what you're saying though. Wouldn't mind a cup run, but at the same time, I don't want to go on a poor run of form in the league.

Are we seriously capable of going to Cardiff twice and winning twice One win will be hard enough. One draw may be hard.
sbfox Posted 19 January 2010 Posted 19 January 2010 So players and fans and other staff will have to travel down to Cardiff for the Cup match and the PP League match.Fooking Brilliant <_< Are you mental? Yes, this is the nature of playing in a league AND a randomly drawn cup competition... Yes, our fans and staff WILL have to travel down to Cardiff twice. I can confirm this...
StanSP Posted 19 January 2010 Posted 19 January 2010 Are we seriously capable of going to Cardiff twice and winning twice One win will be hard enough. One draw may be hard. Stranger things have happened...
Ford Super Sunday Posted 19 January 2010 Posted 19 January 2010 Stranger things have happened... Clubs gonna go into administration paying toll charges to get into the bloody country, we'll have to sell everyone for 10p and we'll get thrapsed on the league game we go and visit them on!
Simo86 Posted 20 January 2010 Posted 20 January 2010 I'm going for a smash and grab 1-0 with King scoring in the last 10
marbelladave Posted 20 January 2010 Posted 20 January 2010 Wales! Again. Bloody Hell! :frusty: Really not sure if I can be bothered this weekend zzzzzz......!

Guest Bilo Posted 20 January 2010 Posted 20 January 2010 Think we'll lose the cup game and win the league game myself. Not sure why, just a funny feeling. 1-0 Cardiff with Chopra scoring. Win the league game 2-1 with goals from Kermorgant and N'Guessan, the French connection.
Fox92 Posted 20 January 2010 Posted 20 January 2010 I'd love us to win and go through to the last 16. Not sure about this one, though.
Heart-Shaped Fox Posted 20 January 2010 Posted 20 January 2010 I'm going for a smash and grab 1-0 with King scoring in the last 10 I'd take that! But I'm gonna say 2-2 after being 2-0 down with Wellens and Gradel scoring. Preferably Gradel with a free kick in injury time!
Sods Posted 20 January 2010 Posted 20 January 2010 Actually going to this, up the city. Night out in Cardiff afterwards, Luverly.
Simo86 Posted 20 January 2010 Posted 20 January 2010 I'd take that! But I'm gonna say 2-2 after being 2-0 down with Wellens and Gradel scoring.Preferably Gradel with a free kick in injury time! It would be like MK Dons all over again
Tommeh Posted 20 January 2010 Posted 20 January 2010 Managed to find a way there, C'Mon City, everything on the Cup!
maddog Posted 20 January 2010 Author Posted 20 January 2010 You do realise we have Bristol City away in a few weeks too... Bloody hell id forgot about that plus we have Donny away rearranged, if this goes to a replay players are going to get tired(er)
Heart-Shaped Fox Posted 20 January 2010 Posted 20 January 2010 The ref is P T Crossley, anyone remember having him? The name rings a bell to me, probably the usual poor standard.
whitlock Posted 20 January 2010 Posted 20 January 2010 http://www.cardiffcityfc.co.uk/page/NewsDe...1938351,00.html It wont be shown on that welsh channel unfortunatly
Heart-Shaped Fox Posted 20 January 2010 Posted 20 January 2010 Radio Leicester through the Player it is for me then.
Edmund Posted 21 January 2010 Posted 21 January 2010 Just checked and there's a half hour programme of Cardiff V Leicester highlights on S4C at 5:30PM.
Heart-Shaped Fox Posted 21 January 2010 Posted 21 January 2010 Just checked and there's a half hour programme of Cardiff V Leicester highlights on S4C at 5:30PM. Lets hope its not 0-0 then!
Ford Super Sunday Posted 21 January 2010 Posted 21 January 2010 Just checked and there's a half hour programme of Cardiff V Leicester highlights on S4C at 5:30PM. Looks like we'll be competing with Llanelli v Bangor, The New Saints v Port Talbot and Aberystwyth v Carmarthen though, so we won't get major highlights. But it's better than 45 seconds on the ITV round-up!
ramboacdc Posted 21 January 2010 Posted 21 January 2010 im going for a 0-0 draw or 1-0 loss since we cant seem to score much at the moment and cardiff are on fire
Heart-Shaped Fox Posted 21 January 2010 Posted 21 January 2010 im going for a 0-0 draw or 1-0 loss since we cant seem to score much at the moment and cardiff are on fire Are they? In the last 6 games in all competitions they have won 1 game, that was the replay in the cup vs Bristol. Since beating Boro 1-0 away on the 13th December these have been their results: Cardiff 0-1 Plymouth Posh 4-4 Cardiff Cardiff 1-1 Blackpool Bristol 1-1 Cardiff Scunny 1-1 Cardiff Cardiff 1-0 Bristol Hardly on fire is it? They havent scored many since the Posh game and only kept one clean sheet in six. Very winnable game for us.
ramboacdc Posted 21 January 2010 Posted 21 January 2010 didnt realise them stats! hardly pay attention to any team but our own but now im tempted for a 1-1 draw or a 1-0 win gotta love being corrected!
