Thracian Posted 22 January 2010 Posted 22 January 2010 Parkes seemed to have been highly rated both here and at youth international level. He's a committed, battling sort of player, always in the thick of things perhaps not unlike a much younger version of Wayne Brown. And, just like Brown, his distribution is his main failure. Times he'll just look up and hoof a hopeful 35 yard pass that gives away possession when a simple 15-yard ball would be more constructive. Not that I see any reason for this to stall his career. We've had lots of similarly indifferent passers in our first team defence in recent seasons. On some occasions I've wondered if it's compulsory. Anyway I wish him well, hope he improves and expect that he will do okay.
MC Prussian Posted 22 January 2010 Posted 22 January 2010 Good move to a good club for this young lad. I like Burton Albion.
Samilktray Posted 22 January 2010 Posted 22 January 2010 Paul Peschisolido has a bright future in management.
