Webbo Posted 29 January 2010 Posted 29 January 2010 I just don't see how it's a benefit to the STH.I always lend my ST to someone if i'm away anyway, and I suppose you can enjoy the company of your friend or a family member with you at a match with this benefit I just don't see how it's a benefit to the STH, surely it's a benefit to the person you are taking? Don't get me wrong i've got no ideas for STH benefits, however it just gets me how the sugar coat these ideas as a benefit to the STH. Benefits. The benefit is that you get to take a friend, girlfriend, family member with you to the football. It is better to give than receive.
Ozwin Posted 29 January 2010 Posted 29 January 2010 If you miss a game you should be able to trade it for an FA Cup/Carling Cup game.

Technically speaking, your ST is non-transferable, so at the moment if you pass it to a friend or family member, you are breaking the rules. So this new scheme is an improvement.

But if you are away, It'd make more sense to lend your mate your ST, rather than Ring up the ticket office, wait for them to send you a ticket through the post, or go to the ticket office, in person.

Karljohn Posted 29 January 2010 Posted 29 January 2010 No doubt the OS will carry a picture of some gimp who buys the first one. I'll renew but only if they offer an early bird discount, just spent the best part of £200 on away tickets for me, the missus and nephew. I do wonder sometimes about the timing, we turn in our second worst performance of the season at Barnsley, we fail to pay money for a player in the window and they decide to launch season tickets pending an absolute pummeling by the table topping geordies.

samjohnson Posted 29 January 2010 Posted 29 January 2010 Flaming heck... Its getting earlier and earlier each year :l And all these "benefits"... The ticket office will soon be turning into the dole office
PAULCFC Posted 29 January 2010 Posted 29 January 2010 Just had a look at what it would cost for me and the lad whose 17 to go tommorow in the Kop,where we have our season tickets £27 for me and £15 for him = £42.When you've bought a program and a pint thats £50.Can't remember how much my ST was,but remember the lads was £125 for this season.Thing is it's alot to pay out all in one go for a st,but without it there's no way i'd be paying out £50 every two weeks to go to the games.
Daggers Posted 29 January 2010 Posted 29 January 2010 Can someone explain how that is a benefit to the Season Ticker holder? As sharp as a feather pillow.
CosbehFox Posted 29 January 2010 Posted 29 January 2010 without it there's no way i'd be paying out £50 every two weeks to go to the games. Do you get a pint and programme free with your st then? Sorry I just hate add these extra costs when food/drink and programmes are an additional choice. Be interesting to see if they decide to stick by disgraceful £7 per direct debit payment admin fee for anyone paying installments. Peoples opinions are beginning to change about football and paying the OTT, they have to be clever this time out.

Guest Posted 29 January 2010 Posted 29 January 2010 Enter Lisa... I asked that they were honest and open about charges to the instalment payment plan. It didn't help my case when certain people said that the charges were explained last season, and so didn't need to be explained again. When I say certain people, this was not the club.

I dont really mind the timing as I pay mine over 6 months and the sooner I start paying the sooner its paid for . Didnt really mind the 4 quid charge either to be honest, small price to pay for being able to pay over 6 months IMO. I couldnt afford the whole amount in one.
lcfc_jme Posted 29 January 2010 Posted 29 January 2010 Leicester City's 2010/11 Season Ticket package will be disclosed to supporters at the Newcastle United game on Saturday, January 30. The Club will release information on pricing as well as confirm the new benefits package, which has been designed to offer supporters the strongest overall deal possible. "Our Season Ticket holders will remain our number one priority. Prices will continue to be competitive and offer superb savings over the course of next season. We will continue to encourage youngsters and families in particular, as we look to grow the next generation of Leicester City supporters," Chief Executive Lee Hoos said "We are delighted to confirm that our Season Ticket holders' benefits package will be enhanced next season with the introduction of our new Seat Exchange scheme. Seat Exchange will provide an opportunity for Season Ticket holders who miss a game next season for whatever reason to exchange their unused match voucher for an additional match ticket for another game for family or friends to use. "We feel this new benefit, in conjunction with our free under 8s Season Tickets and our attractive pricing for all concession groups, offers exceptional value to guarantee a seat for next season." Season Tickets will go on sale to all supporters from February 1, with current Season Ticket holders' seats reserved until close of business (5pm) on March 31. From OS That's me guaranteed to spend another season in the home-game wilderness. Cheers Lee, you cunt.
