davieG Posted 29 January 2010 Posted 29 January 2010 Leicester City's 2010/11 Season Ticket package will be disclosed to supporters at the Newcastle United game on Saturday, January 30. The Club will release information on pricing as well as confirm the new benefits package, which has been designed to offer supporters the strongest overall deal possible. "Our Season Ticket holders will remain our number one priority. Prices will continue to be competitive and offer superb savings over the course of next season. We will continue to encourage youngsters and families in particular, as we look to grow the next generation of Leicester City supporters," Chief Executive Lee Hoos said "We are delighted to confirm that our Season Ticket holders' benefits package will be enhanced next season with the introduction of our new Seat Exchange scheme. Seat Exchange will provide an opportunity for Season Ticket holders who miss a game next season for whatever reason to exchange their unused match voucher for an additional match ticket for another game for family or friends to use. "We feel this new benefit, in conjunction with our free under 8s Season Tickets and our attractive pricing for all concession groups, offers exceptional value to guarantee a seat for next season." Season Tickets will go on sale to all supporters from February 1, with current Season Ticket holders' seats reserved until close of business (5pm) on March 31. From OS
Ford Super Sunday Posted 29 January 2010 Posted 29 January 2010 Well at least we know they've gone up for definite this year
Hitesh Posted 29 January 2010 Posted 29 January 2010 Dont understand the timing of this because it won't help for the transfer window. And being not too long after xmas, I don't think they will benefit much.
CosbehFox Posted 29 January 2010 Posted 29 January 2010 If they had any sense, they sell a few hundred if they just either a) but in a performance tomorrow or b) signed a player (loan or full).
Bellend Sebastian Posted 29 January 2010 Posted 29 January 2010 The best way of selling them is to remind us how much a ticket costs on the day. It's HOW MUCH?!??! If I didn't have a season ticket I'd don't think I'd go ever again
Guest Mee-9 Posted 29 January 2010 Posted 29 January 2010 I'll be renewing mine for definite. Bit early tho isn't it
suffolk fox Posted 29 January 2010 Posted 29 January 2010 Fast becoming a bloody joke! Interestingly Mandaric does this just before his court case? This to sub his defence?
Guest Bilo Posted 29 January 2010 Posted 29 January 2010 I'll renew mine but in February?! Balls to that idea, I'll wait till the last possible moment. I'm not going to see any of the interest they'll accrue by having my ST money in the bank till August am I?
davieG Posted 29 January 2010 Author Posted 29 January 2010 A benefits package? I'm sold. I'm not sure how selling you benefits other ST holders.
Webbo Posted 29 January 2010 Posted 29 January 2010 I don't like the idea of renewing by March but tbf this isn't a bad scheme. new Seat Exchange scheme. Seat Exchange will provide an opportunity for Season Ticket holders who miss a game next season for whatever reason to exchange their unused match voucher for an additional match ticket for another game for family or friends to use.
davieG Posted 29 January 2010 Author Posted 29 January 2010 It depends if the price goes up after March 31st, I'm not too fussed about retaining a seat.
Guest Bilo Posted 29 January 2010 Posted 29 January 2010 I don't like the idea of renewing by March but tbf this isn't a bad scheme. Yeah in all fairness, that's not a bad one. I usually miss one or two at the start of the season due to work commitments so I'd use those I imagine.
philce Posted 29 January 2010 Posted 29 January 2010 A benefits package? I'm sold. Im still waiting for this seasons "benefits"!
maddog Posted 29 January 2010 Posted 29 January 2010 MM needs to pay off his tax bill, he's fooking desperate.
Heart-Shaped Fox Posted 29 January 2010 Posted 29 January 2010 Seems very early! I'll probbaly get mine renewed anyway though!
PAULCFC Posted 29 January 2010 Posted 29 January 2010 I allready have a seat exchange scheme.....if i can't make a match i just lend one of my mates my season ticket
Matt Posted 29 January 2010 Posted 29 January 2010 On current prices I have no problem whatsoever, I'm very happy with the current prices, For the first time this year I had to buy and Adult ST despite still being a 'Young Adult' when buying my ST this year but being a 'Adult' when the season started, my argument was they wanted my money early I was saying 'they scratch my back, i'll scratch theirs' they weren't budging though. This year I'm getting a Student ticket though, I won't be a student by the time the season starts but they don't need to know that. I think prices will be going up this year, and I still probably won't have too much of a problem with the prices (I hope) but I am quite pissed off that they make this deadline earlier and earlier - Or that's how it seems anyway. Soon we'll be buying are ST's a year in advance. Also, "We are delighted to confirm that our Season Ticket holders' benefits package will be enhanced next season with the introduction of our new Seat Exchange scheme. Seat Exchange will provide an opportunity for Season Ticket holders who miss a game next season for whatever reason to exchange their unused match voucher for an additional match ticket for another game for family or friends to use. Can someone explain how that is a benefit to the Season Ticker holder?
SMX11 Posted 29 January 2010 Posted 29 January 2010 Well its better than Cardiff. They were asked to renew early to help them buy in the transfer window and Mr Ridsdale (willy puller) has decided against it.
dandannieldanok Posted 29 January 2010 Posted 29 January 2010 I allready have a seat exchange scheme.....if i can't make a match i just lend one of my mates my season ticket I'd love to know who comes up with these schemes.
Webbo Posted 29 January 2010 Posted 29 January 2010 Can someone explain how that is a benefit to the Season Ticker holder? Well they can hardly arrange another fixture so that you can use the spare ticket.I had to miss the last home game and it was too short notice to get anyone to take it. If this scheme was available this season I could take someone with me tomorrow.
Shrenchel Posted 29 January 2010 Posted 29 January 2010 Dont understand the timing of this because it won't help for the transfer window. And being not too long after xmas, I don't think they will benefit much. If they'd done it whilst the transfer window was open though there would have been the expectation that the club are going to spend some of the cash on transfers when it seems that's quite a long way down Milan's list.

If this scheme was available this season I could take someone with me tomorrow. I just don't see how it's a benefit to the STH. I always lend my ST to someone if i'm away anyway, and I suppose you can enjoy the company of your friend or a family member with you at a match with this benefit I just don't see how it's a benefit to the STH, surely it's a benefit to the person you are taking? Don't get me wrong i've got no ideas for STH benefits, however it just gets me how the sugar coat these ideas as a benefit to the STH. Benefits.
