StanSP Posted 3 February 2010 Author Posted 3 February 2010 Cheers treacle. And whens the kick off? Between 6.15 and 6.30 Eastern Time from what I can gather. Think Miami is 5 hours behind us...so around half 11 I presume.
Edmund Posted 7 February 2010 Posted 7 February 2010 Anyone care to explain the rules of American Football in half hour? Not a fan or ever really watched it but I've decided I'm going to give it a whirl to see what all the hypes about?
Fox You Forest Posted 7 February 2010 Posted 7 February 2010 It's pretty straight forward to pick up, you should know what's what by the end of the first quarter.
Lillehamring Posted 7 February 2010 Posted 7 February 2010 well, i will be routing for the colts, but the 'fairytale' for many will be for new orleans to win, which is a load of balls, i don't buy this charitable idea in sports. that said, i have ended up supporting two teams, which i guess i should be ridiculed for - but i have my reasons. one of my teams is the colts, so i want to see them kick 'ass'.
Jordan Posted 7 February 2010 Posted 7 February 2010 It's not just the Hurricane Katrina thing--it's also about Saints fans having to suffer through decades of miserable football Two high-powered offenses, but the Colts are certain favorites because of their solid in-game management (with a lot of adjustments called by Peyton Manning himself at the line). We'll see about Dwight Freeney's ankle, though...
Fox You Forest Posted 7 February 2010 Posted 7 February 2010 Want the Saints to win, underdog and all that, also because Sean Payton played for the Leicester Panthers. Ohhh Carrie Underwood, yes please.
lildave3 Posted 7 February 2010 Posted 7 February 2010 I now want the Saints to win simply because they've come out to Alan Parsons Project.

General Smuts Posted 7 February 2010 Posted 7 February 2010 Whoever that lass is ... well worth a punch in the whiskers.

lildave3 Posted 7 February 2010 Posted 7 February 2010 What? Good enough reason Oh, and I love hearing the US Anthem sung at sports events.
Wycombe Fox Posted 7 February 2010 Posted 7 February 2010 Carrie Underwood has caused a stirring in the groin area
Benji Posted 7 February 2010 Posted 7 February 2010 The winning of the coin toss was greeted with a cheer worthy of a touchdown. Crazy yanks
General Smuts Posted 7 February 2010 Posted 7 February 2010 Is someone called Wiggles on the Colts team?
Lillehamring Posted 7 February 2010 Posted 7 February 2010 What? Good enough reason Oh, and I love hearing the US Anthem sung at sports events. ha, no, great shout - i never had you down as a parsons fan... just settled in with some 16 year old highland park, 3up for the colts, really excited now!

Fox You Forest Posted 7 February 2010 Posted 7 February 2010 Mike Carlson's wasted on the BBC, I've had to switch to Sky Sports can't listen to them clowns.
Lillehamring Posted 8 February 2010 Posted 8 February 2010 absolutely massive, MASSIVE drive from the colts - good running from addai too...
General Smuts Posted 8 February 2010 Posted 8 February 2010 First touchdown. The game should start to open up now. Unfortunately Peyton Manning is smashing it.
