New Orleans Saints vs Indianapolis Colts

Sunday 7th February 2010. Miami.

Colts are favourites.

Saints' first Superbowl in 43 years

Key man for the match - Peyton Manning. If he's on form, Saints have no chance

Anyone gonna watch?

Might be able to tell why I want to win :D

Will be watching as usual, though it can be a flucking nightmare if I don't get some sleep in the day before the match, else I'll hit the wall and die!

Cannot wait, Blackpool on Satdeh, Superbowl on Sunday!:smile:

Aha yeah I made it to halfway through the 3rd quarter for Giants vs Patriots. Took a 10 minute nap and then made it for the finale. Then missed half a day of school on Monday lol

Will be watching it but getting immeasurably slaughtered in doing so. Still gutted about the Vikings, will be hard to watch.

Colts by less than 7.

Actually, they were the first team I ever watched in NFL, my first game was Colts @ Pats in 2005 on Monday night Football, Patriots were champs at the time, So I routed for Colts, they won, I stuck with them, they got very good.

I shall be watching, despite having to work at 10 the next day. quite fancy Saints for the win to be honest, narrow victory by only a few points. Not that either are the team that I follow but hey ho.

On a similar note I've just secured my ticket for the NFL game at Wembley again this year, bit of 49ers v Broncos action

I might stay up for this one, I've stayed up and watched all of the previous two.

Still no New England, who I chose to support as NE is by far my favourite region of the US, not just because of their success :P

I agree with you on liking the Saints for this one - American Football love a story, and if the Saints won it would be perfect for creating an 'America's Game' with.

Plus everyone raves about Manning as a quarter back, but lets face it Drew Brees is no mug and could out shout him. Got to love the Reggie Bush factor as well.

Nice work with the tickets for the UK game later this year - bit of a shame about the teams, I can't imagine either of those will improve much over the summer, they never seem to. At least the Broncos should be used to the cold weather. I went to the first couple, but holding back for the Falcons turn to grace these shores - plus the fact they moved the ticket release date to January, what a silly thing to do!

No salary cap next season, so anything is possible.

gotta go with the saints

brees and meachem helped me win my nfl league (although having chris johnson didn't harm my chances)

be great for N'awlins

Lost interest when the Eagles ultimately failed in the wildcards.

Lost more when the only half like-able team left for me got beat too, in the Vikings.

I'll still watch, would rather the Saints win, never liked the Colts AT ALL.

I've been watching plenty of American football in the last few months. My moneys on the Saints they've been playing some great football during the play offs and i expect them to win in a low scoring game.

Not by any stretch of the imagination a big american football fan but ill be watching as i did last year with a beer in hand rooting for the underdog. The saints are coming.

The superbowl winners are the exact reason why salary caps and drafts must NEVER be allowed into football.

The game, and the league itself is now nothing more than "entertainment" each side gets their chance to be the best in the league for a few years as a result of the draft and the whole thing is virtually a stage managed "show"

 yup, its where the AFL got its business plan im sure.

As we see through the AFL "competition"....

Each team gets its 4-5 year window of opportunity to win the league.

Each team has its rebuilding (losing) seasons

The top 2 and the botom 2 sides are clearly defined the remainder are all about the same.

Salary cap and drafts... BAH HUMBUG! :santa:
