To be fair, a lot of people believe that he is literally 'God's Son'. But we are all 'sons and daughters' of God.

Jesus himself is God, he is a human form of God.

Jesus Christ is most definitely God. He created Adam and Eve, the first man and woman, in his image. He is the Creator of the universe. The Bible says, “Through him all things were made; without him nothing was made that has been made” (John 1:3). This includes all the stars, all the original animals and plants, and even the angels (Colossians 1:15-17).

It is important not be confused. God did not create Jesus. Jesus is God, and he has always existed.

Jesus proved that he is God by doing many things that only God could do. These are called miracles. He made dead people alive. He walked across a great lake. He made blind eyes see perfectly again. He healed deadly diseases with a word.

I've also got to say I think there a lot of insensitivity in this thread.

Fair enough, you think that what I believe, and what forms the foundation of my life, is complete garbage. I can respect that, but some of the comments/pictures (Daggers) I find a little sickening.

I wasn't mocking you, although I can see how that could have been perceived. You'd be surprised how often people will use the 'it's only Jesus, not God' excuse when questioned on their mocking of him. It's just plain naivety. If people feel happy and comfortable to mock a religious figure without even remotely understanding who that figure is in the eyes of believers, then that's insensitive in my eyes.

But who doesn't know that Jesus is the main (or very important) figure in Christianity? That knowledge alone should make people think....hang on, there could be believers reading this and ripping into someone like that could be insensitive.

Ok, maybe you didn't know that Jesus is God, and to be fair looking back you are pretty much the only one not to make some kind of homosexual-related joke and so I apologise for that.

Judas, who played left back for Dasmascus Disciples United was going out with Mary Magdalene. They had a child together.

However, The Sunday Herod reported that Jesus, captain and centre-half for Damascus, had been having a bit of extra-miracular activity with Mary.

When confronted, Jesus said "Christ, they'll crucify me for this"

Judas got his own back by grassing Jesus up to the Romans about his claims to have performed miracles, one of which was that he laid his hands upon Titus Brambilius and turned him into a footballer. We all know what a load of b*llocks that was.

It's about time the Church stopped hiding the truth.
