Tilley Posted 20 February 2010 Posted 20 February 2010 But thats when we've been playing 442, so he's got licence to drop deep. If he was the central man in our 433 system he wouldnt be able to.Understand? Oh my fucking God. EVERYTIME I PERSONALLY HAVE SEEN HIM PLAY, DE DROPS DEEP, WHETHER IT'S 442, 433, 541, 532, 118. I, yes I would personally start Howard today, but I don't get paid to pick the team, Pearson does so it's all pretty irrelevant really. I think Howard is well past it and will benefit from dropping down a level or two in the summer but after seeing the state of their pitch, I don't think it is going to be the sort of game where we will be spreading it around to the likes of Dyer, Waghorn, Gallagher etc and playing a passing game. We will probably (and unfortunately) have to resort to route one, which sometimes you have to do because not all teams have the standard of pitch that we have at the Walkers. Will Howard be able to play 90 minutes? Probably not. In wet, muddy condition I would start Howard because he plays the target man role to a tee, if it doesn't work and he's having a shit game, then I would bring Kermo on. Now understand that and stfu.

Dont bite touchy, im only disagreeing with you. Imo, if yannick was old to play up top and stay up top he would. So you STFU!!!
Dylan Posted 20 February 2010 Posted 20 February 2010 Does anyone know of a live stream for this match?? thanks Dont think there's gonna be one. Myp2p.eu says the Championship match is Forest v Boro so that must be the feature match on FootballLeagueShow.

Just look at lildave's post. He drifted deep on Tuesday when in the 433 formation and not for the first time. I am not going to warrant you with any more responses anyway.
ousefox Posted 20 February 2010 Posted 20 February 2010 The last time we won when I listened to the whole of a league game on the radio was Plymouth at home so i'm definately sensing a win today!

lovelcfc Posted 20 February 2010 Posted 20 February 2010 Well done to every city fan making the journey
Jordan Posted 20 February 2010 Posted 20 February 2010 Sir Ian Stringer says it's Weale; Morrison, Hobbs, Brown, Berner; Wellens, King, Oakley, Dyer; Gallagher, Waghorn. subs: Logan, Kermogant, N'Guessan, Solano, Howard, Bruce, Neilson. Interesting that Howard and Kermo are on the bench, with everything indicating that the ball is going to be in the air a lot today.
Simi Posted 20 February 2010 Posted 20 February 2010 From Bert's Facebook.. Nigel Pearson is an absolute hero. He's just come over to speak to, and thank the fans for the support.
Guest Posted 20 February 2010 Posted 20 February 2010 What a top bloke NP is comin over to thank the fans the marching band have almost been pelted by a few stray balls, well if you will park yourselves behind the goal
Heart-Shaped Fox Posted 20 February 2010 Posted 20 February 2010 No doubt Stockdale will have a blinder for them.
Joe. Posted 20 February 2010 Posted 20 February 2010 Got to be winning these if we're going to stand a chance of being there or thereabouts at the end of the season. No reason why we can't today, just hope our boys give the fans something to be happy about on the journey back from Home Park for once...
lcfcadam Posted 20 February 2010 Posted 20 February 2010 Would have loved to have been there today but having to make do with Real vs. Villarreal at the Bernabeu tomorrow instead, definitely not an adequate substitute but needs must...
Ozwin Posted 20 February 2010 Posted 20 February 2010 Be nice if Stockdale gets a good reception. We can win this.
Libertine Posted 20 February 2010 Posted 20 February 2010 Be nice if Stockdale gets a good reception. We can win this. How long did he play for us?
Fosse Boy Posted 20 February 2010 Posted 20 February 2010 How long did he play for us? Eight games. Managed to get himself in a lot of photos at Southend though.
samlcfc Posted 20 February 2010 Posted 20 February 2010 Anyone know a way to listen to the game over the internet. My radios broke
