Ashley Posted 24 February 2010 Posted 24 February 2010 Quick question to all photographers out there, what setting would you have to set your camera to, to take a picture like this? I know its a picture of the scums ground but hey.. Thanks.
lavrentis Posted 24 February 2010 Posted 24 February 2010 Cant you just take 3 photos, make sure they're the straight (hard without a tripod) and then merge them together in photoshop. To take a photo like that you'd need a wide angle lens camera.
Ashley Posted 24 February 2010 Author Posted 24 February 2010 Thanks Bert from searching it on google it very well might be. I suppose I could Lav cheers for the replies anyway
hairy Posted 24 February 2010 Posted 24 February 2010 Its using a fisheye lens, I think. Hence the curve in the lines
AmericanScott Posted 24 February 2010 Posted 24 February 2010 I'd say it's panoramic. I used to take those kinds of shots with my camera. edit: after looking at it again, i'd go with what hairy said.
Shrenchel Posted 24 February 2010 Posted 24 February 2010 I'd say it's panoramic. I used to take those kinds of shots with my camera.edit: after looking at it again, i'd go with what hairy said. It's both surely. Wouldn't get that just taking a photo with a fish-eye.
potter3 Posted 25 February 2010 Posted 25 February 2010 It's curved because the guy's rotated the camera about a fixed point, I think.
ACF Posted 25 February 2010 Posted 25 February 2010 It has been rotated. Fisheye curves the other way doesn't it?
The Blur Posted 25 February 2010 Posted 25 February 2010 This is not relative to this topic but I was thinking maybe a new thread should be created solely for the questions which is bit like advice withe PC in the computing thread, this would reduce many threads where a question is asked and answered within few posts so clogging up the threads etc Just a thought
