SeCrEt FoX Posted 27 February 2010 Posted 27 February 2010 We are going up say we are going up !!! missed out on chance to go today as i had op on Wednesday i been in absolute agony jumping round my living room this afternoon well done city WELL WORTH IT THO!!!! Knew we could do it
iBleedLeicesterColours Posted 27 February 2010 Posted 27 February 2010 Amazing. The boys were brilliant.. I haver said from the start what a great player gallagher is and he is proving it now .. 2 v CP, 3 v Scunny, 1 today when he got starts. Berner and Morrison are playing awesome. Wellens Oakley and King are solid in midfield and we have to sign Waggy! And in reply to forest fans earlier in the season, this result shows it was a one off, also that the Walkers is a fortress and that is what you call an atmosphere. Your fans were shit when you were 5-1 compared to us at 3-0. N you only had one song " you fat bastard" WOW original Also what happened in the family stand and at one point in L1 ? Buzzing for wednesday away now !! Well done lads !!
Ozwin Posted 27 February 2010 Posted 27 February 2010 3-0 against probably the scummiest bunch of pansies we'll see this season. Every tackle we made they rolled around on the floor like they'd been shot, ridiculous. Plus two players booked for diving wasn't it? They've conned their way to the top by the looks of things. Who said they play the best football in the league too? What a load of BS. Anyway, good first goal, worldy free kick for the second and a fluke from where I was sitting for the third. We didn't play great but we beat the bastards and that's all I cared about before the game. Jack Hobbs is easily a top 5 defender in the league too, maybe even top 3, he had, and always seem to have, an outstanding game. I still can't believe where we are, I'm shaking in excitement at the prospect of finishing in the play offs. Could have done with Swansea losing but when you have Derby and Blackpool losing in the same day you can't have it all.
sbfox Posted 27 February 2010 Posted 27 February 2010 Fantastic day to be a City fan, feels great to hammer in some goals. Love to see the Trees falling over themselves trying to convince themselves they don't care about us - it fooking hurt them, make no mistake. Two questions; since WHEN has Berner scored 3 goals this season?! Mental. Secondly, how many headers have we scored this season? Gotta be one of teams with the lowest number of headed goals? Actually... Morisson's had a few hasn't he.
Ilkeston_Fox Posted 27 February 2010 Posted 27 February 2010 Great performance!!!! And to the stupid Forest fan getting done over in the City end. Won't fooking try that again will you!? If only you had managed to get in L1...... Up the foxes!!!!!! EDIT: I work at Royal Mail Nottingham - can't wait to turn in on Monday, they are going to get some back, I can tell you!!
milan_foxes Posted 27 February 2010 Posted 27 February 2010 That must be ONE of the best games i've seen. At the start all the forest scumbags singing 5-1 and thinking they were gunna walk all over us again. How wrong could they be.... I didnt think Wellens had the greatest games but i've gotta give him credit for his work for the 1st goal. There's nothing I can say about Gallys apart from MAGIC. And im glad Kingy got one because I thought he worked really hard in the centre of the park today. P.S, Whoever sat in N, Did you see them 2 women that looked like "Wally" from "Where's wally?"
syston_fox Posted 27 February 2010 Posted 27 February 2010 Get the fook in! Nicely placed now in the play offs and reeled Forest back in a bit too. Gallagher's goal was pure class and the goal celebrations were second only to Howard v Leeds for home games!
southdevonfox Posted 27 February 2010 Posted 27 February 2010 be a few drinks downed tonight , fantastic city , bloody fantastic ,,
Guest DavidJCW Posted 27 February 2010 Posted 27 February 2010 FAN-FOOKING-TASTIC!!! Great effort, great atmosphere, GREAT result! EIEIO It's up the football league we go!!!
purpleronnie Posted 27 February 2010 Posted 27 February 2010 Can't wait to see my Forest supporting brother in law tomorrow.
SeCrEt FoX Posted 27 February 2010 Posted 27 February 2010 We seem to be looking a lot better since NP dropped Robbie Neilson, Probably NP's worse signing. He cant pass ,Take a throw in ,Tackle or defend in general. I did think Nielson and Oakley are the teams weakest links but to be fair to Oakley he does pull his socks up sometimes, But think we still need a different leader. Maybe Berner? Morrison or even Brown?
leftsideoverhere Posted 27 February 2010 Posted 27 February 2010 Fantastic. The Kop bouncing as Gally's free kick went it. Fifteen minutes or so of pure noise. First half was hard work, like a derby between two promotion chasing sides should be. NP did his magic at half time and slowly over the course of the second half our confidence built and once we'd scored there was only one team in it. Highlight? The old boy just in front of us who'd had a big row with the people in front in the first half cos they wanted to stand up and he wanted a snooze, throwing himself round the kop like a twelve year old once we were in front. Revenge for the 5-1 and something more - a dent in their promotion credentials. Never felt more like singing the Blues...
MrSpaM Posted 27 February 2010 Posted 27 February 2010 The city shop was selling pre orders of the match dvd after the match Our back four deserve a lot of credit tonight, some crucial tackles and blocks, bodies flying in everywhere, and Weale basically had nothing to do. Great win
sbfox Posted 27 February 2010 Posted 27 February 2010 I've seen on one Forest forum that they reckon the ref told McKenna (a shortened version), that he should watch his step or he'll send him off to make up for when he wasn't sent off against Noocastle. The Tree in question then started questioning whether this was grounds for a replay/biased refs etc etc. Laughable.
muzzyisalegend Posted 27 February 2010 Posted 27 February 2010 can't wait for another Wembley trip - been a long time since I walked down Wembley way- hopefully we'll be playing the not so tricky trees again!!!!! Bring on the Premier league, so we can go marching up that too!!!!
Bugg Posted 27 February 2010 Posted 27 February 2010 Highlight? The old boy just in front of us who'd had a big row with the people in front in the first half cos they wanted to stand up and he wanted a snooze, throwing himself round the kop like a twelve year old once we were in front. Was that in SK1 by any chance? Anyway, what an absolutely brilliant result for us, Gally's free kick was something special and the atmosphere was brilliant. I'm so glad we got the win today, revenge? I think so.
Sylvie85 Posted 27 February 2010 Posted 27 February 2010 Great result, ANOTHER clean sheet. Defence has been fantastic in recent weeks. Massive chance for us now.
SeCrEt FoX Posted 27 February 2010 Posted 27 February 2010 Great result, ANOTHER clean sheet. Defence has been fantastic in recent weeks. Massive chance for us now. No neilson
leftsideoverhere Posted 27 February 2010 Posted 27 February 2010 Was that in SK1 by any chance? Nope, Just on the edge of SK4. There must be several hypocritcal old gits there when the stadium fills up. Who knew?
