Thought it was going to be one of those games in first half, we really didn't offer to much. NP must have worked his magic at half time though, we were ten times better. When we hit the bar I thought it just wasn't our day, but we just ripped them to shreads. Great result, I'm gonna be very happy and drunk tonight!

Fox92 Posted 27 February 2010 Posted 27 February 2010 All day was brilliant. First, got to spoke to Waghorn and congratulate him about his goal at Doncaster The match, was brilliant. I think most of the first 11 were great today. Wellens, Hobbs, Waghorn, Gallagher, Brown, Berner in particular for me. Weale made some fine saves but wasn't really tested that much, not anything hard from what I recall apart from corners and a few easy shots from McKenna and that Polish lad. Wellens was really dominant in midfield, a Nottingham Forest midfield that is very dominant themselves. Berner was consistant again and really impressive. Felt sorry for Waghorn again with those long balls to him but again, he played well. Gallagher's goal Nice applause for Bobby Smith as well. Well played to the Forest fans, but as real football fans, they arn't going to do anything different. Ref was poor though I thought and Waghorn should have scored that chance when he was on-side. Happy though, and can't wait for Sheffield Wednesday on Saturday...

First half was hard work, like a derby between two promotion chasing sides should be. NP did his magic at half time and slowly over the course of the second half our confidence built and once we'd scored there was only one team in it. Highlight? The old boy just in front of us who'd had a big row with the people in front in the first half cos they wanted to stand up and he wanted a snooze, throwing himself round the kop like a twelve year old once we were in front. Revenge for the 5-1 and something more - a dent in their promotion credentials. Never felt more like singing the Blues... 75mins of silence then

I didnt think Wellens had the greatest games but i've gotta give him credit for his work for the 1st goal. There's nothing I can say about Gallys apart from MAGIC. And im glad Kingy got one because I thought he worked really hard in the centre of the park today.
