dogadug Posted 1 March 2010 Posted 1 March 2010 Just thought it'd be interesting to see what everyone thinks will happen in the remaining fixtures for all the teams, and where we, and the other teams will finish. bbc predictor I got Newcastle and West Brom tied for 1st, with identical goal difference With F****t, Us, Swansea and Sheff Utd in the play-offs.
Dylan Posted 1 March 2010 Posted 1 March 2010 Got us winning the championship with 93 points, winning every game from now Just jokin- After doing the first few weeks properly, then getting bored and not thinking, i've got us in 4th place with 84 points, missing out on 3rd to Forest on GD. In the playoffs i've got, City, Forest, Cardiff, Swansea. Imagine that, the two play-offs, Welsh derby and an EastMidlands derby!

Dylan Posted 1 March 2010 Posted 1 March 2010 Yeaah itts 3rd v 6th, and 4th v 5th. So the welsh derby and east-midlands derby in the playoffs are likely.

Fox You Forest Posted 1 March 2010 Posted 1 March 2010 I have no idea but I'm going to enjoy finding out.
Dylan Posted 1 March 2010 Posted 1 March 2010 Not if they finish as you predicted. But like I said I just rushed most of it, and can't see us finishing 4th, even though were playing great at the moment!
Tommeh Posted 1 March 2010 Posted 1 March 2010 Hoping it'll be 3. Swansea 4. Forest/Us 5. Us/Forest 6. Cardiff Although if Sheff United sneaked in I'd prefer them to any trip to Wales in the semi's or to play in a potential final with their fantastic play-off record I'd back us all day long. (Only club to win loose a play-off final at old Wembley, new Wembley and Millenium.)
lcfc_jme Posted 1 March 2010 Posted 1 March 2010 Got Newcastle finishing on 98 points, WBA finishing on 90, then Forest 82, Cardiff 79, Us 75 and Swansea 74. Think I may have exaggerated form somewhere.
Lillehamring Posted 1 March 2010 Posted 1 March 2010 statto do a pretty reliable (it was last year) predictioin based on form rather then guessing scores and they currently have 1. newcastle 92 2. wba 85 3. forest 80 4. swansea 77 5. us 74 6. cardiff 69
The Doctor Posted 1 March 2010 Posted 1 March 2010 1st newcastle 2nd WBA 3rd Florist 4th Us 5th Swansea 6th Sheff U Relegated 22nd QPR 23rd Sheff W 24th Peterborough
Paulmot Posted 1 March 2010 Posted 1 March 2010 Newcastle 98 LCFC 89 West Brom 87 Swansea 78 F****T 76 Blackpool 71 I cannot help being optimistic, but we do have a really good chance in all our games. I know we somtimes struggle against the lower postion teams but I see a renewed belief in the team and Pearson has set his sights on a strong finish. Good Post with the predictor table
Guest Bilo Posted 1 March 2010 Posted 1 March 2010 I get: Newcastle West Brom -------------- Cardiff Nottm Forest Leicester Swansea -------------- Other end: --------------- Palace Plymouth Peterborough
MC Prussian Posted 1 March 2010 Posted 1 March 2010 Needless to say which blue team I'd like to win the Playoff final at Wembley...
Ashley Posted 1 March 2010 Posted 1 March 2010 I think we'll need a minimum of 70 points to finish in the play offs, I think we'll finish on 74 PTS. 1 - Newcastle 2 - Westbrom 3 - Nottingham Forest 4 - Leicester City 5 - Swansea 6 - Sheffield United/Boro
Unit Posted 1 March 2010 Posted 1 March 2010 A lot of you are rating cardiff and swansea higher than I'd have thought most would, I'd imagine sheff U to break into it at some point and cardiff to drop out. IMO
Legend_in_blue Posted 1 March 2010 Posted 1 March 2010 It's amazing how opinions change on this forum as the season progresses. Most people had us finishing midtable and being content, now it's a toss up between 3rd, 4th or 5th.

Jimothy Posted 1 March 2010 Posted 1 March 2010 Haha I got us finishing second by a point and Newcaslte winning it with 101 points. Also seemed to have Reading going down on alphabetical order behind QPR.
Guest Mee-9 Posted 1 March 2010 Posted 1 March 2010 1) Newcastle 2) Leicester/WBA - Depending if we do a unbeaten run like forest. 3) WBA/Leicester 4) Forest 5) Cardiff 6) Sheff Utd 7) Swansea
Spiritwalker Posted 1 March 2010 Posted 1 March 2010 I think we'll need a minimum of 70 points to finish in the play offs, I think we'll finish on 74 PTS.1 - Newcastle 2 - Westbrom 3 - Nottingham Forest 4 - Leicester City 5 - Swansea 6 - Sheffield United/Boro This. Though I think Boro will pip Sheff Utd. Palace Plymouth Posh To go down.
Guest DavidJCW Posted 3 March 2010 Posted 3 March 2010 I've just done it and tried to be as realistic as possible... though it's very difficult predicting such things... and the table came out with the top 8 looking like this: 1. Newcastle United 98 pts 2. West Bromwich Albion 92 pts ------------------------------------ 3. Nottingham Forest 84 pts 4. Leicester City 79 pts 5. Swansea City 75 pts 6. Cardiff City 74 pts ------------------------------------ 7. Sheffield United 73 pts 8. Middlesbrough 71 pts At the other end of the table, it ended up as follows: 21. Crystal Palace 41 pts ------------------------------------ 22. Sheffield Wednesday 37 pts 23. Plymouth Argyle 31 pts 24. Peterborough United 26 pts With the play-offs being Forest vs Cardiff and Leicester vs Swansea, I think we'd have a good chance of making it to the final and then possibly facing Forest for a place in the Premiership!
