davieG Posted 24 April 2010 Posted 24 April 2010 It was on RL Ok, cheers. Sometimes people post in here what they hope and it gets taken as for real.
Joe. Posted 24 April 2010 Posted 24 April 2010 Disappointed about the lack of Wellens, he's been brilliant recently. Actually really nervous about this, come on boys.
Foxhateram Posted 24 April 2010 Posted 24 April 2010 I'll take it he is injured? aparently a calf problem. squishy pants time!!!!! come on you city!!!!!!!
Salieri Posted 24 April 2010 Posted 24 April 2010 Big blow to lose Wellens who has been superb of late. Pressure on the young lads King and in particular Spearing to stand up and be counted today in Wellens absence. Nice to see Lloyd back.
Ozwin Posted 24 April 2010 Posted 24 April 2010 Weale, Morrison, Brown, Berner, Hoobs King, Dyer , Spearing, Waghorn, Gallagher, Vaughan Subs : McGivern, Solano, Logan, Adams, N'Guessan, Kermorgant, Bruce. I'm guessing Gallagher will play more of a midfield role and Dyer will be on the wing right?
davieG Posted 24 April 2010 Posted 24 April 2010 Quite a nicely structured team that is capable of switching smoothly from 442, 4411, 433 to 424 with number of different player combinations, provided King and spearing can hold the midfield together the attacking options are awesome.
Candidcamera Posted 24 April 2010 Posted 24 April 2010 Where is Oakley ? Surely he should be in the team today ?
Joe. Posted 24 April 2010 Posted 24 April 2010 I'm guessing Gallagher will play more of a midfield role and Dyer will be on the wing right? I think that should be the case yeah. I hope so anyway, I think Dyer is a far greater threat when employed more advanced up the pitch, otherwise I wouldn't even bother with him personally.
Salieri Posted 24 April 2010 Posted 24 April 2010 Where is Oakley ? Surely he should be in the team today ? Why?
FoxyPV Posted 24 April 2010 Posted 24 April 2010 Definitely going for all out attack to get the win! :scarf:
Mort Posted 24 April 2010 Posted 24 April 2010 Quite a nicely structured team that is capable of switching smoothly from 442, 4411, 433 to 424 with number of different player combinations, provided King and spearing can hold the midfield together the attacking options are awesome. Thats the crux of it - would be nice to have a big physical presence in the middle of the park like Wellens at DeepDale, strange that Oakley doesn't even make the bench as an experienced head might not be a bad idea. Still Spears and King have proven their up to it in the past, just need them to hold it together today.
Lillehamring Posted 24 April 2010 Posted 24 April 2010 Weale, Morrison, Brown, Berner, Hoobs King, Dyer , Spearing, Waghorn, Gallagher, Vaughan Subs : McGivern, Solano, Logan, Adams, N'Guessan, Kermorgant, Bruce. that¨'s an insanely young squad - oh my, just got really excited about this - and i know my internet will die during the match....
Mort Posted 24 April 2010 Posted 24 April 2010 Oakley's injured. At least it means he's not having a sulk - not that hes ever struck me as the kind of player who would (both he and Howard are sufficiently mature players to know when they have to knuckle down and raise their game, with any luck that's what he's focusing on doing now).
