i say play the academy team, they went the season,or nearly the season unbeaten did'nt they?

but! if we dont play a team to our best strength and we swap like 5-11 players, then wont we get fined?

let's face it we lose any more money then the club has!

Carl Pentney gk

Neilson rb

hobbs cb

mcgiven cb (his natural position!)

powell

spearing dcm

king cm

oakley or gally cm

Waggy RW (cut in with that beaute left foot ;) )

Schlupp LW (try him out, i think he looks a decent and one of our brightest prospects)

Kermy ST (give him a chance to score then bring on fryatt after kermy plays 55mins and cant even get the ball out of his feet for a shot)

bench i dont care about apart from fryatt tbh

+ if we play this team i dont think we would get fined. There's only 3 changes from the regular team, and neilson counts as a first team player, since he was at the start of the season before we realised that he has the attributes of a kitten, and the throw of delap, with the throwing accuracy of a man with no hands.

Nucleas of the first choice eleven but a rest for King, Berner, Brown and Gallagher. Maybe rest waghorn too. Add one or two academy player who have impressed Pearson to the bench to reward them.

Rest Berner without a dobut, give N'Gussen a run out for Gallagaher, Fryatt on after 60 for Waggy but apart from that keep it the same

If we did play a weaker team, it'd be a joke if we got fined. Whats the point in having a squad if we cant use it. And NP should be able to field whatever 11 players he feels will help him in the long run.

I'd rest a few:

Weale

O'Neill

Hobbs

Bruce

Powell

Gallagher

King

Spearing

Nguessan

Fryatt

Vaughan

Subs: Logan, Berner, Adams, Dyer, Oakley, Waghorn, Kermo

Id start Fryatt so he can play for as long as he's fit enough for. Give him as much time as possible to play, hopefully he can get a goal.

I would be happy with seeing players such as Dyer and Vaughan getting more game time also Wellens if he is fit again, obviously bringing Fryatt on and Powell towards the end.

Think we will see, Adams, Bruce and Neilson all starting.

City manager is set to play his 'wild card'

Saturday, May 01, 2010, 09:30Comment on this story<br style="line-height: 1.4em; ">

Leicester City fans have not seen the best of striker Yann Kermorgant, manager Nigel Pearson has said.

The Frenchman has made only nine starts since arriving at the Walkers Stadium in August, initially on a three-month contract, but Pearson offered him a two-and-a-half year deal in December and is confident the 28-year-old will begin to show his true ability.

Kermorgant, who Pearson calls his "wild card'', may get his first start since the 1-0 defeat at Derby against Middlesbrough tomorrow in City's final Championship game of the season.

"Yann has come in, but we haven't seen the best of him yet," said Pearson.

"People probably won't know but Yann takes a lot of credit in the fact he was prepared to back his own ability and took a short-term contract initially.

1x1.GIF"It is a different culture and I don't think the fans have seen what he is capable of yet. We have a lot of faith in his ability and I am sure in time he will be able to show that.

"It is frustrating for players when they are desperate to play, but there are only 11 starting places and he hasn't always fitted into what we want, and to what he wants.

"I think he is a bit of a wild card for us and that he will do very well in the English game."

Player-coach Chris Powell could also feature tomorrow in what could be the final appearance of his illustrious playing career.

After 24 years and 750 appearances, the 40-year-old defender could make his final appearance against Boro as Pearson looks to rest a few of his key players ahead of the play-offs.

"If Chris hangs up his boots, he has been a great servant not only for this club but also for football in general," he said.

"He is an absolute credit to himself and the clubs he has played for. He has a huge influence on the players here.

"It is quite a difficult balancing act to be a player and a coach, but he does it very well. He is well-respected by all the staff and the players.

"Whether he has a swansong on Sunday or, not we will see."

Richie Wellens is fit again after a hamstring strain and Matt Oakley has returned to training after an ankle injury, but Michael Morrison will not feature because of an ankle problem. Matty Fryatt could also make his first appearance since fracturing his jaw in February.

"He has been training flat out now for a couple of weeks," said Pearson. "From when he did the injury he has been targeting the play-offs, so hopefully he will feature."

Logan in goal according to official site. NP is resting a few of the better players, could be a smart move. :)
