Longest week ever waiting for this game??

True.

The most disgusting thing about this is how lucky Forest are!

They get a weekend in Blackpool before the match and if they win, no doubt they'll stay the night again! Even if they lose the first leg they get to play them at home in a very winnable game.

For us however, we have to play with the shittest kick off time, Sunday 1:15?! Drinking going to have to start very early, then we have to go to Cardiff on a Wednesday fecking night?!

It will all be worth it when Waggy grabs the winner in Wales though.

Is Bothroyd still a bit of a hot head?? Can we rile him a bit until he loses it and breaks someones leg down near the corner flag??

I certainly wouldn't call him a hot head - not in his time at Cardiff anyway. He is a moaner though - constantly moans to the ref if decisions aren't going his way. He also had a habit of going to ground too easily last season, but has improved vastly in the last few months and Dave Jones played a bit of a masterstroke by making him captain at the turn of the year and ever since he's been stronger and stays on his feet more often than before. I think the added responsibility has brought a new maturity to his game.

I would liken his progress this season to that of Bobby Zamora at Fulham. Dave Jones and co seem to have really worked on his game and he's very much a target man now for us - strong with his back to goal and very difficult to shake off the ball. I've not seen a better player of his type in a Cardiff shirt (albeit I've seen my share of donkey's play for us over the years!!).

I am so excited about this, I've practically wished this whole week away thinking about it. I know on Sunday I will be incredibly nervous though, it's so tight going into this home leg I can't call which way it's going to go.

I'm picturing a draw at the Walkers with me then going absolutely mental as the only Leicester fan in an Eastbourne as King knocks in a late, late winner to put us into the final. I think that would actually be the greatest thing ever if that happened.

The more I think about it the more I think a win by two goals or more is very important for us at the Walkers. Chances are we'll lose by the odd goal at their place again.

3-1 will do please lads. Waggy with two and Fryatt with a late 'un. :fc:

Time is standing still! Roll on Sunday. :chant:

I wasn't that nervous until reading this thread... now I can't do anything until Sunday is over.... then i'll be the same until I get in the ground in Cardiff!

Dr Pop - Quick question if you're on. Give us the best place to park in Cardiff. Don't mind a walk, just want to get out quickly (and alive)..... I don't fancy spending £5 to be fenced in and not get away for hours!

Nah, he's grown up these days. McPhail, or McFail as he's sometimes referred to, is an accident waiting to happen. Can't handle the big games. I think he's been sent off both times he's played against Swansea for Cardiff.

We should get at him.

Parking's been a bit of a problem since we moved to the new stadium - the stadium was built on the site of the old car park for Ninian Park, so we've lost 'on the day' parking at the ground (season pass only now) and the good old council have been busily making the local side streets residents only - however much of these restrictions are on Saturdays only, so night games are thankfully a little easier. You can park relatively close to the ground on Broad Street or Lansdowne Road (take a look on google maps) - many are residents only bays but as I said the restrictions are on Saturdays only, so you'll be ok. The Lansdowne Pub is also away fan friendly - you'll have no problems in there if you fancy a pre-match pint, the other pubs in the Canton area where most fans go are not so friendly I'm afraid. It's about a 10 minute walk to the stadium from the Lansdowne - you will get caught in a bit of traffic on the way out, but it's about the best you'll find - I'll be parking there unless I get the bus in.

That's a bit harsh on McPhail - he was sent off twice against Swansea last season, but both were for 2 silly bookings - mistimed (but not nasty) tackles and kicking the ball away. To be honest he couldn't punch his way out of a paper bag!

Our goalkeeper David Marshall however and centre half Anthony Gerrard (Stevie G's cousin) had each other by the throat during our game at Forest last month. I reckon you should target the scouser if anyone!!!

My prediction for Sunday fluctuates from anything between a 4-0 win to a 4-0 defeat, depending on my mood.

I just don't know what to think.

My heart tells me that we've got a good side, full of confidence and we are more than capable of taking a one or two goal lead to Ninian Park, but my head is telling me Cardiff have an excellent side (particularly midfield and attack) and that we are gonna draw or lose and have to go and try to win in Cardiff.

Having said all that, im gonna stick my neck out for a 2-1 win (Waghorn and King).

How can you possibly be looking forward to that game more than ours??

Despite being nervous, i cant bloody wait for Sunday, Blackpool v Forest is barely on the radar.

Because im so nervous and anxious about what coud potentially happen perhaps?! TO say im shitting it is an understatement. I'm a football fan as well as a leicester fan. A game with no risk of hurt is a calming influence at the moment.

Dont anyone pretent they can fell such emotion now and detach the moment a final whistle blows.

To be fair, at the moment just the thought of sunday gets me nervous, excited, scared and optimistic all at the same time. it's going to be one hell of a game, i hope we can get a few goals, just don't want to jinx anything :)

Q. I can't remember - do away goals count double in terms of aggregate score or have I been watching too much Champions League?

This question is a joke, right?

This question has been asked so many times :giggle:
