Has anyone ever tried to break a world record??

I just watched Britains Got Talent and seen that the World record for the amount of Ferrero Rocher's eaten in 1 minute is 7

I could easily do that

and i want to be in the Guinness Book of World Records

Dreamt once I attempted to break the record of most photographs took in a minute with about 1000 photographers flashing. Think I ended up in a fit.

I was part of a team that once held the World non stop pool playing record. I think it was about 52 hours???

Unfortunately a couple of weeks later another group outlasted us and because they did it just before the guiness book of records closed off, they got into the book and we missed out

I was once cooked for by a Polish chef who was at the same language school as my Japanese friend in London. Apparently he held the world record for the largest soup on record. Made it in a massive vat in Poland. I never actually saw proof and I can't remember his name.

The grub was to die for, however, so I'm happy to believe him.

so tomorrow i am gunna apply to do it officially

The indoor soccer place about five blocks away from my apartment set a Guinness World Record for longest indoor soccer game (34 hours)

I didn't play in it, but I know some of the people that organized it and played, so that counts... well, actually, it still doesn't count.

You can use your hands, but you do have to unwrap them. Here's a video of someone equalling the previous records of six a couple of years ago.
