Resonate Posted 12 May 2010 Posted 12 May 2010 Anyone like me and several friends from Leicester who all work/live in London and wanting to watch it, its being shown at the Sports Cafe, Haymarket, nr Leicester Square/Picadilly Circus in the function room upstairs. Glad I rang them cant take the risk running around London looking for the match when Fulham playing in Europa League final. We got a proper bum deal with these fixtures, Sunday for first leg too early and clash with Prem league final day and now Europa League final. Oh well, keep praying guys, COME ON CITY Hope to see some more Leicester fans there.
martyn Posted 12 May 2010 Posted 12 May 2010 I was all set to go to the Sports Cafe this evening but I've come down with a virus so will just watch it at home under a duvet. Saw the Reading and West Brom away games there earlier in the season and there was a good Leicester turnout (especially the Reading game) so enjoy it and make some noise.
Cat Burger Posted 12 May 2010 Posted 12 May 2010 Aha. I've been there before and it had shedloads of screens, but I think there are only two smaller ones in that room. I think I'm still going to get some cheap cans in and watch it on sopcast. £4 a pint is not an option at the moment!
Alexikokopops Posted 12 May 2010 Posted 12 May 2010 I'm watching it from home tonight. Feeling a bit cheap and looking for payday, so can't really afford a night in the Sports Cafe!
Hitesh Posted 12 May 2010 Posted 12 May 2010 I've got the task of trying to convince the staff at O'Neil's in Reading that they should stick the Leicester game on one of the many screens they have! We'll see how far I get with that one...
RGFox Posted 12 May 2010 Posted 12 May 2010 I've got the task of trying to convince the staff at O'Neil's in Reading that they should stick the Leicester game on one of the many screens they have! We'll see how far I get with that one... Good luck, I've tried tons of places in RG to no avail. Last sun the pubs were showing the f**king F1!! Could try the walkabout otherwise, though reckon the Fulham be on everywhere... Ah well, I'm luckily in Leic this week!
nothin2seehere Posted 12 May 2010 Posted 12 May 2010 Nothing wrong with the F1, so long as Leicester isn't playing at the same time I'd come to the Sports Cafe, but unfortunately I only have permission to watch the game at home. Enjoy though!
Manderic's pants Posted 12 May 2010 Posted 12 May 2010 I'm hoping the local in East Dulwich, which has loads of screens, will dedicate at least one to the LCFC game. Fulham game is on Five after all.
Guest NGoloMode Posted 12 May 2010 Posted 12 May 2010 Sounds good but I cant be bothered to make the journey with the early morning i have tomorrow. Im a lazy one.
Ricey Posted 12 May 2010 Posted 12 May 2010 Very tempting, but I don't think I could stomach the tube ride home if we lost.
Resonate Posted 12 May 2010 Author Posted 12 May 2010 Come on guys! Its not like its a small game , make the effort. The good thing about here is that they will have sound, even if you can convince the local to screen it on one telly you still aint gonna get the commentry they will have the Fulham sound on. Get down there and lets get an atmosphere going
AmericanScott Posted 12 May 2010 Posted 12 May 2010 I'm not even risking watching it tonight. Every time i've watched us on Sky this season, we've lost. Stringer and co. will be keeping me company tonight.
hackneyfox Posted 13 May 2010 Posted 13 May 2010 For future reference The Stags head New Cavendish Street There were 25 of us from Bentleys Roof in there last night. Nigel, the manager, is a Leicester fan and doesn't miss a game. Had a telly showing us, and one showing Fulham. And he laid on sandwiches, pasties, roast spuds, the works. You've never heard a pub in London go off like it did when we scored the third.
