Hopefully it's just over reactionary reporting from sky.

England are cursed when it comes to injuries.

They aren't cursed any more than any other football nation. The difference is England should have the quality in depth to cope :dunno:

Delighted. He's a cunt.

And anyone who thinks he's one of the best four defenders of our nationality are wrong. One of the most overrated players on the planet. Dawson (or Micah Richards) to take his place, please.

Before his personal problems Terry was considered one of the best centre halfs in the world, now he's not even one of the best 4 in England apparently lol

Hope he makes it, he may be a **** but all I care about is what he does on the pitch and he's a big player for us, even more so with Ferdinand and King's injury record.

What Terry did was fucking disgraceful. Why the hell would I want to cheer on that bastard? "Because he's English and he's representing us" you'll probably reply with, but I honestly couldn't give a fuck.

Personally I think he should be fucking castrated for what he did, but I'll settle for laughing at the cunts face as the England teams' flight to South Africa leaves without him.

Good!

This stops all those issues about Terry ****ing around... let's have a united team around someone who isn't a complete twat as captain! :scarf:

EDIT: Sorry, forgot he'd be stripped of that! :giggle: Well at least let's have a team that doesn't have a complete twat in it then!!! :D

lol so you haven't denied that you're saying Terry is now not one of the top four defenders in this country because of his personal life? lol!

I just really hope you think of everybody else who has done what JT did the same.

No break for Terry

But further scans needed to investigate possible ligament damage

By Graeme Bailey Last updated: 12th May 2010

Terry: No break

Sky Sports sources understand that England and Chelsea star John Terry has not suffered a broken metatarsal.

Terry suffered an injury during training with his club on Wednesday and he was forced to leave their Cobham training complex with a protective boot on his foot.

He immediately went to hospital for a precautionary scan, and Sky Sports understands that they showed no break - amid fears he has suffered a broken metatarsal.

However, he has not yet been given the green light as he needs further checks on Thursday when it will be determined whether he has suffered any ligament damage - but he remains 'hopeful' that he will feature in this weekend's FA Cup final.

Terry will be desperate to avoid any major injury as he prepares to lead Chelsea on Saturday against Portsmouth as they hope to complete the first Double in the club's history.

England coach Fabio Capello will also be keeping abreast of the situation as he looks to avoid any injuries ahead of the World Cup finals.

I wouldn't rate him in the top four defenders of this country for purely footballing reasons.

He's just so overrated, come up against a bit of pace and he'll just bring them down and take the red card.

Now you're just being silly.

He just captained Chelsea as Prem winners you doughnut.

Please don't tell me he's been instrumental to their success, because he hasn't.

He's a passenger in that team, with a more able defender they'd be on course for the treble this year, not the measly double.

I think if Ledley King could play more than one game a season, he'd get played ahead of Terry anyway. On his day, easily one of the best English centre backs.

However, when a Terry injury means that Matthew Upson will probably be representing us at the World Cup as his replacement in the side, I couldn't give a shit about what he's done. Upson is proper, proper gash. Dawson's come on well, but I'd still rather have Terry if I'm honest. Experience could be priceless.

Why should I care what he did in his personal life? He didn't shag my girlfriend did he? You can say what you like about the man and I would agree with most of them but from a football point of view he is a very good defender.
