Sods Posted 21 June 2010 Posted 21 June 2010 yeah thats gunna end up being our main song we think and no other team in the world would have that as a song all the credit goes to fosse boy formally known as A Fox In essex Sounds great especially if everyone goes mental after the lyrics.
LCFC-ARAB Posted 21 June 2010 Posted 21 June 2010 Sounds great especially if everyone goes mental after the lyrics. Yeah thats the plan!!
wc-remix Posted 21 June 2010 Posted 21 June 2010 Like the Dale Cavese chant, works really well at my club. The only problem wit it is that it tends to get quicker and quicker until after about 1 minute it becomes virtually unrecognizable and out of beat. My favorite rendition of said chant: fooking brilliant.
LCFC-ARAB Posted 21 June 2010 Posted 21 June 2010 we'll deffinatly be singing that and our drum will keep it slow we sang that for about 20 minutes straight at the swansea home fa cup game love the chant
FoxyPV Posted 22 June 2010 Posted 22 June 2010 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Xdw-BMLEYcQ Thats only 4 of our songs they arent as good quality as we were hoping for but thats what happens after a few to many martinis click the description bar to get all the lyrics and what times they are on if you are planning to be with us for the sunderland home game then you need to have learnt these 4 songs at the very least we have about 3 or 4 more songs that will be sung we'll post them soon just ask if you want to know anything GET LEARNING! and cheers to davieG for making the video for us! Fucking epic. Where's all the anti capitalist and anti fascist songs?
LCFC-ARAB Posted 22 June 2010 Posted 22 June 2010 Fucking epic. Where's all the anti capitalist and anti fascist songs? everyone learn this! EDIT: lyrics... In the streets and the terraces we are singing and we scream all our rage for the nazi scum we are coming start to run! COME ON COME ON!!! ANTIFA HOOLIGANS! haha i would love that before some one says it, no we are not a hooligan group
marko Posted 22 June 2010 Posted 22 June 2010 Would you ever consider doing a version of this - except changing the ' we support Sankt Pauli' to something like 'we support the foxes' or 'the city'? I think it sounds fantastic. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UeI4lAvv7Yk
LCFC-ARAB Posted 22 June 2010 Posted 22 June 2010 Would you ever consider doing a version of this - except changing the ' we support Sankt Pauli' to something like 'we support the foxes' or 'the city'? I think it sounds fantastic. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UeI4lAvv7Yk The Holmesdale Fanatics at Crystal Palace have adpted that as their songs and pretty much every ultra group in the country sings it we are trying to be as unique as possible so we're gunna stear clear of that song
FoxyPV Posted 22 June 2010 Posted 22 June 2010 Would you ever consider doing a version of this - except changing the ' we support Sankt Pauli' to something like 'we support the foxes' or 'the city'? I think it sounds fantastic. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UeI4lAvv7Yk That's a song our supporters (St Galls) sing at our championship matches. It's a fucking great tune. It sounds much better if you start really really slow then build it up to a massive crescendo with air horns etc going off at the end
wc-remix Posted 22 June 2010 Posted 22 June 2010 Timing will be key with these chants. 25 people doing it slowly and in sync to the drum > 100 people all over the place. Things are looking good though. I just urge everyone to stick with it over the first year, even the first two/three years...because come 2014-15, when the amount of core supporters is at 200-300, it will all be worth it. You will probably look back on this year and probably laugh at your naivety (if that's the correct term). This is a very exciting time for the club in terms of support, hopefully one day a Leicester away trip is something that opposing players and fans think twice about. See you lads in October.
Lillehamring Posted 22 June 2010 Posted 22 June 2010 yeah thats gunna end up being our main song we think and no other team in the world would have that as a song all the credit goes to fosse boy formally known as A Fox In essex it could be quality, but me and the missus had a quick listen and i think you need to listen to the record again, it doesn't sound quite right, unless that was your intention
LCFC-ARAB Posted 22 June 2010 Posted 22 June 2010 it could be quality, but me and the missus had a quick listen and i think you need to listen to the record again, it doesn't sound quite right, unless that was your intention yeah singing it exactly the same way as the actual song doesnt quite work we rekoned this would be the best way as it flows better and then we dont have the du du du's between each line
ousefox Posted 22 June 2010 Posted 22 June 2010 Would you ever consider doing a version of this - except changing the ' we support Sankt Pauli' to something like 'we support the foxes' or 'the city'? I think it sounds fantastic. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UeI4lAvv7Yk That sounds brilliant at York as well, but yeah if you want to be unique this song wouldn't be your best bet.
Unit Posted 22 June 2010 Posted 22 June 2010 if you are planning to be with us for the sunderland home game then you need to have learnt these 4 songs at the very least Alright Glee.

Unit Posted 22 June 2010 Posted 22 June 2010 i'll be posting our dance routine aswell soon so make sure you all learn it English lyrics would go down better http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6ZwgQwnGLKo
LCFC-ARAB Posted 22 June 2010 Posted 22 June 2010 I prefer.... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2j_86xYG8r8&feature=channel
Fosse Boy Posted 22 June 2010 Author Posted 22 June 2010 As a massive Savage Garden fan I'm gonna have to go with the English on this one. Did I read somewhere that it was a bunch of Millwall lads involved? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=K-_rf2jVxxY
Lillehamring Posted 22 June 2010 Posted 22 June 2010 yeah singing it exactly the same way as the actual song doesnt quite work we rekoned this would be the best way as it flows better and then we dont have the du du du's between each line fair enough, i only mention it because i hate the way that the tune to ring of fire is so far from the original you can barely tell what it is - but i trust you won't be doing ring of fire...
Guest Bilo Posted 22 June 2010 Posted 22 June 2010 As a massive Savage Garden fan I'm gonna have to go with the English on this one. Did I read somewhere that it was a bunch of Millwall lads involved? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=K-_rf2jVxxY Not sure if it's Tottenham actually, could be wrong though. Either way, it's ace. Any chance of us adopting this as a Fosse Boys song?
Unit Posted 22 June 2010 Posted 22 June 2010 Not sure if it's Tottenham actually, could be wrong though. Either way, it's ace. Any chance of us adopting this as a Fosse Boys song? Having boys in the title and singing savage garden might not go down that well
Fosse Boy Posted 22 June 2010 Author Posted 22 June 2010 fair enough, i only mention it because i hate the way that the tune to ring of fire is so far from the original you can barely tell what it is - but i trust you won't be doing ring of fire... Yeah, was always my intention to omit the vibraphone parts from our version. Wouldn't work as a football chant otherwise. Only problem I can hear with the recording is some drunkard singing the guitar riff part wrong. I have my suspicions as to who the culprit is...
Guest Bilo Posted 22 June 2010 Posted 22 June 2010 Having boys in the title and singing savage garden might not go down that well Savage Garden > Ring of Fire.
Fosse Boy Posted 22 June 2010 Author Posted 22 June 2010 Having boys in the title and singing savage garden might not go down that well Pfffft. He was married, therefore he can't be gay. Aaaaaaaaaaaanyway, that's taken the thread well off topic. So here's a picture of a chap with a flare...
