Jay Posted 25 June 2010 Posted 25 June 2010 it's kind of obvious that the club will be totally anti anything like this, no matter what they say they don't really want to accommodate anything that they don't have 110% control over. They don't want anything imaginative to happen, would love it to happen for but I can the club putting may obstacles in the way to discourage it taking off.

Yeah i rekon you are right even if the club dont let us take flags a drum and a megaphone in they cant stop us all standing together and singing together so we will just have to do that for a while until they let us, we'll get petitions going, get the fsf involved and the football league we won't stop till the club just lets us get on with it Celtics ultra group the Green Brigade have just recently for next season been given their own area of the stadium, where they control who gets season tickets with them i think that is amazing for a club to do that, and that would stop so many problems for the club i even thought of getting something done where everyone in the Fosse Boys signs a bit of paper saying if they are injured by flags or the drum etc they cant take any action against the club.... i'd happily do that, and make it a requirment of joining us It's annoying me that the club wont email us back, cause i would happily talk to them about all these possibilities but then again i would be skeptical that i would suffer the same fate as Jamie with N block we arent expecting miracles straight away and according to other ultra groups we have talked too the first season is by far the hardest, we make it through that and we have done better than quite a few attempts
leftsideoverhere Posted 1 July 2010 Posted 1 July 2010 Achieve that and i will love you forever. The funniest thing about that most excellent video is that it is presented by YouTube as "This is a response to 'The Spurs Go Marching In'." Response? . Pisses all over, more like.

Yeah, i never thought of that was just thinking of anything to help our cause if that got out then we'd have randomers trying to impale them selfs on our flags for a bit of compensation Another bit of news we have had an email back from the club and they want a meeting with us some of us are a bit skeptical about the meeting after what happened with the singing section but hopefully things have been learnt from the mistakes and it will benefit us and a meeting is the only way we can go any further with this and the issue with our flags and drum we have also ordered our group banner which is in my sig, it's gunna be 1.5 metres by 4 metres and we have also orderd our main huge flag which is 3 metres x 3 metres which will be waved on a 4 metres flag pole so hopefully the club will let us take them in this shit is started to get real, and just from talking to people on the facebook it sounds like the songs are getting learnt seriously cant wait for the 31st of july now
leftsideoverhere Posted 1 July 2010 Posted 1 July 2010 you and me both buddy ! your the same as us, me the mrs and my lad of 13 go and love the singing but usually get stuck in a dull part of the ground with little or no atmosphere so maybe we could start the Fosse Boys Over 40's Club ! The Fosse Old Boys? I'm so into that.

The key is to convince them that trouble is not the aim of the group (which is the truth), and that it's all just to create a non-intimidating atmosphere.

Also, for people who cannot make it to the Sunderland game, could you take a photo or a little video to post up?

Also, for people who cannot make it to the Sunderland game, could you take a photo or a little video to post up? Yeah let us do it for 3 games then ban the organisers exactly like they did for the singing section but that was then and this is now, so hopefully it'll be different we will get some pictures mate dont worry and i;m sure you will be able to tell if it was a success from people posting on here
Ozwin Posted 1 July 2010 Posted 1 July 2010 What's this about the singing section then? What did they prevent from happening before?
1964FOX Posted 1 July 2010 Posted 1 July 2010 Any idea which area we should buy tickets for the game as it's West Stand only so SK1 is not a possibility. Should we wait till after the meeting to get tickets as club may possiblyallocate a small section of seats for us if successful.
LCFC-ARAB Posted 1 July 2010 Posted 1 July 2010 What's this about the singing section then? What did they prevent from happening before? A few lads off here had an idea of getting a singing section going they had a meeting with the club who seemed really into it then after 3 games they banned one of the lads who organised it for persistant standing although he was on the back row and he had abour 15 rows of people standing infront of then they stopped the whole thing

C-man Posted 1 July 2010 Posted 1 July 2010 Is the group planning to do Palace away? Could be a possibility to join the HF for a co-ordinated march to the ground.... Only an idea but I think it is important for the Ultra movement in this country to be seen as peaceful.

Only an idea but I think it is important for the Ultra movement in this country to be seen as peaceful. Unlikely first off. They'll have their own plans for opening day and I doubt they'd want to share them with a group with no credible action under their belts at that point. Was very interested in what one of the Bristol City lads was saying on SUSD about a joint pro-standing protest though. Could have potential for October if we can get a good group down there.

Only an idea but I think it is important for the Ultra movement in this country to be seen as peaceful. we will be going to palace, but wont be doing anything official will try and get everyone on the same train and then too leicester square I like the idea about meeting up the HF lads though that could deffinatly be an plan and will do wonders to help people realise we arent hooligans EDIT: Fosse Boy beat me too it like the Bristol plan though
1964FOX Posted 1 July 2010 Posted 1 July 2010 Don't want to sound boring but meeting up with other sets of fans before we are established as a non confrontational group could easily be hi-jacked by morons from either club and derail the group before it starts. Ok I admit I do sound boring but unfortunately it's reality.
Narborough_fox Posted 1 July 2010 Posted 1 July 2010 Does this group mean having to drop your trousers, like many other Ultra.
LCFC-ARAB Posted 1 July 2010 Posted 1 July 2010 Does this group mean having to drop your trousers, like many other Ultra. I don't know what you think ultras are mate.... be we arent those ones!
