Ozwin Posted 1 July 2010 Posted 1 July 2010 You must be putting shit loads of money into this? I really hope it's all allowed in the ground for your benefit let alone everyone elses.
irDeano Posted 1 July 2010 Posted 1 July 2010 Requested to join the group, my season ticket is in SK1 next season so if it does happen to be round near me i will of course join in, would love this to happen and for it to work.
LCFC-ARAB Posted 1 July 2010 Posted 1 July 2010 You must be putting shit loads of money into this? I really hope it's all allowed in the ground for your benefit let alone everyone elses. It hasnt cost us alot apart from our own personal flags which we used our own money we sold our scarfs for a little bit more so that we could make money to buy the drum, group banner and 3m x 3m flag we thought that would be better than asking for donations Requested to join the group, my season ticket is in SK1 next season so if it does happen to be round near me i will of course join in, would love this to happen and for it to work. come on mate we need people with a bit more conviction than that people who want to join the Fosse Boys should want to get involved not just get involved if it happens to be near them thats the whole point of this make your self knows on the facebook group and find out what we are seriously about then get involved with us properly
Bert Posted 2 July 2010 Posted 2 July 2010 Have you got fire safety certificates for the flags etc? The club will demand you have them.
LCFC-ARAB Posted 2 July 2010 Posted 2 July 2010 Have you got fire safety certificates for the flags etc? The club will demand you have them. Not yet but they shouldnt be too hard to get it's a joke that i can walk around the stadium with a rolled up news paper in one hand and a lighter in the other and i'm not breaking any rules but i cant have a flag without a fire certificate
easilee Posted 2 July 2010 Posted 2 July 2010 Health and safety will be a major issue. Maybe a bit of diplomatic dialogue and assurances have to be made known to the club, but is it the clubs decision to allow flags or the F.A.?

Possibly the jokers at the FLA are involved too. Not sure on that though.
LCFC-ARAB Posted 2 July 2010 Posted 2 July 2010 Liverpool are allowed massive flags for everygame if they have found a way around it then i dont see why we can't It's just down to the health and safety officer and how much he wants to help us

purpleronnie Posted 2 July 2010 Posted 2 July 2010 I cant see the FA having anything to do with it. The club may limit the size of the flags and want a safefty certificate.
easilee Posted 2 July 2010 Posted 2 July 2010 Good point. Other teams do have flags at a lot of the games. Are the materials used for the flags flame retardant. If not it should be easy to get hold of some fireproofing spray solution from a agood hardware store. Something to keep in mind if it helps ease the club's fears.
LCFC-ARAB Posted 4 July 2010 Posted 4 July 2010 Just made this website and forum http://fosseboys.webs.com/ feel free to join everyone gunna try and move all conversations from our facebook onto that i have no idea what i am doing so bare with it
LCFC-ARAB Posted 4 July 2010 Posted 4 July 2010 Change that background, it's burning my retinas Ultras need strong retinas it's training you for all our pyro
LCFC-ARAB Posted 4 July 2010 Posted 4 July 2010 Touché haha no i am trying to change it i forgot how too i really am terrible at this stuff
purpleronnie Posted 4 July 2010 Posted 4 July 2010 Nice, fair play. Nice to see someone putting the time in, so many say they will but few do.
AoWW Posted 4 July 2010 Posted 4 July 2010 Hmm, I honestly think you're doing yourself no favours when it comes to getting the club onside. They look at your site and the first thing they see is a strapline containing an expletive (and, no, that's not me being prissy - I just think you're playing into their hands). Next they look at the photos and see a pic of the flare. Personally, I've nothing against this and I'd like to see it succeed. But good luck - I think you're gonna need it.
Ozwin Posted 4 July 2010 Posted 4 July 2010 haha no i am trying to change it i forgot how too i really am terrible at this stuff I used to make a few websites, nothing amazing but I can give you a hand if you need it. And I agree with anotheroneofwalshieswomen, you wanna be a bit more upmarket, clearly you're serious about this but you wanna show them you're not a stereotypical, trouble making ultra group, so maybe cut out the profanities.
Floating Fox Posted 4 July 2010 Posted 4 July 2010 To be fair I see where you coming from Fi, but we are going to swear, swearing is part of football, the club will never accept this but they need to get a grip.
LCFC-ARAB Posted 4 July 2010 Posted 4 July 2010 Yeah i get where you are coming from but like floating fox said we arent a play school we are football fans
Bert Posted 4 July 2010 Posted 4 July 2010 Not yet but they shouldnt be too hard to get it's a joke that i can walk around the stadium with a rolled up news paper in one hand and a lighter in the other and i'm not breaking any rules but i cant have a flag without a fire certificate It sure is, but thems the rules, sadly. To be fair I see where you coming from Fi, but we are going to swear, swearing is part of football, the club will never accept this but they need to get a grip. Maybe they do need to get a grip but with attitudes like this, you'll get nowhere mate.
KFS Posted 4 July 2010 Posted 4 July 2010 Totally against the clubs view on swearing but, for a club that won family atmosphere last season, I'd see them wanting to uphold that.
