1964FOX Posted 5 July 2010 Posted 5 July 2010 I have to agree about removing any expletives off the front page, keep them for pages visible to members only. The last paragraph on the "about us" page is excellent and this is the sort of thing that will get the club on our side. It may also be beneficial to mention our loathing of the hooligan element of football. Viva le fosse boys
ACF Posted 5 July 2010 Posted 5 July 2010 Agreed with the swearing bit, but when we get the club over the line, we can then add it back in. It's about perceptions.
1964FOX Posted 5 July 2010 Posted 5 July 2010 Yes I Agree once your accepted you can get away with more. Patience is required and slowly things can be added to achieve what we want and the new manager (if rumours are true) might welcome our style of support.
davieG Posted 5 July 2010 Posted 5 July 2010 Frankly it doesn't matter what you all think it's what the club thinks whether you like it or not and if you don't conform to their requirements you're wasting your time and this will never get off the ground.
LCFC-ARAB Posted 5 July 2010 Posted 5 July 2010 I changed it to 'when you're smiling...' nice and simple and i made it so that you have to be a member to see our pictures, videos and forums after we have established our selfs we'll change it so everybody can see everything apart from our forum where you will still need to be a member sorted
leftsideoverhere Posted 5 July 2010 Posted 5 July 2010 I changed it to 'when you're smiling...' nice and simple and i made it so that you have to be a member to see our pictures, videos and forums after we have established our selfs we'll change it so everybody can see everything apart from our forum where you will still need to be a member sorted I think that's a good call. It's not just about the club, it's also about how other fans see us - and we want the 'defining' thing about the Fosse Boys to be enthusiasm and total commitment to vocal and visual support for the team on match days. There are other things which go with that, about the relationship between fans and the game, the big money in football, ticket prices, commercial involvement yada yada yada, and I think we could, if we wanted, when the Fosse Boys are more established, discuss such things and even write up our views on them, but I don't think it's where we should start. Many teams are very happy with having different kinds of supporters clubs for different kinds of supporters. That's all that LCFC need to remember - that with a positive relationship with the Fosse Boys, they can have a supporters club that adds a further dimension to supporting Leicester City, brings some more atmosphere to the Walkers Stadium, and hopefully adds, overall, to the attendances, and the financial bottom line, for the club.

Deffinatly Everyone knows the club doesnt have that many supporters who are male between the age of 18-30, well compared to other teams in the country so hopefully the club might realise that this might be what will attract them and they dont even need to do anything to do it they can carry on trying to attract families to the walkers and let us go about getting the vocal supporters to return

I believe there is always room for negotiation and yes we must conform to the clubs requests but if approached in the correct way we may be given a chance. The first 3-6 months will probably be a testing time as the club will be watching us carefully. If we mess up at an early stage then I agree it could be derailed and the club will put a stop to us. We must also be aware of others who may wish to use the group for there own gain which will probably not be good for the group.

LCFC-ARAB Posted 5 July 2010 Posted 5 July 2010 I have sent it to google so it appears when you search fosse boys and some other random words it takes a couple days to come up though

Houdini Logic Posted 6 July 2010 Posted 6 July 2010 It's hard times like these the fans need to rally round and unite Exclusionary offshoots singing unknown Euro-tinted songs and waving demented fox-faced banners fook your Viva's and your Ole's WHEN YOU'RE SMILING
Fosse Boy Posted 6 July 2010 Author Posted 6 July 2010 It's hard times like these the fans need to rally round and unite Exclusionary offshoots singing unknown Euro-tinted songs and waving demented fox-faced banners fook your Viva's and your Ole's WHEN YOU'RE SMILING I think we've made it pretty clear that we're going to be putting as much emphasis on traditional City songs and innovative English-style songs as we do on Euro-style chants. Please feel free to start your own group if you're not happy with what we're doing though...

Like Fosse Boys said we have said numerous times that we will be singing all our traditional songs Guess which one you are.......

Like Fosse Boys said we have said numerous times that we will be singing all our traditional songs Guess which one you are....... No - I actually come on here every day, read your dribble and don't really have an opinion, but with the events of late I just got fed up with you banging on about how you're going to create your own site and create your own logos and create your own songs and only allow people to join you if they sing non-stop for 90 minutes. There is not a worse time for you to try this - we need all fans to rally behind the team from pre-season onwards, singing our Leicester songs - not you singing your euro-pop in the corner and alienating the rest of the fans (I listened to the songs you posted on here a couple of weeks ago and not one of them was a traditional song) Football's not about you and your 'Fosse Boys', it's about Leicester City so why don't you go and work something out on that basis? Your picture is ridiculous - that's like saying are you communist or BNP, though I'm sure if you take your head out of the clouds you'll realise that
