1964FOX Posted 18 June 2010 Posted 18 June 2010 a fiver, you are on if someone has gone out of their way to way to stand behind us for what we are going to be doing and dont sing and get involved i will be telling them to **** off simple i am not going to go tell a random bloke in the middle of the kop to piss off just someone who wants to be in the fosse boys because its pretty obvious the type of fan we are after I agree with what you say about anyone with the group who doesn't sing but have to be careful how we ask them to move, don't want any confrontation to give the club an excuse to stop us. Also with reference to those who go to watch the game (from other posts), so am I, will just be singing for 90 minutes whilst doing it. It was said earlier on that the cup game against Swansea was a great atmosphere, yes I agree probably one of the best at the Walkers and that was with a small crowd but therefore a higher proportion of fans singing. Thanks to all those who doubt or are critical it will only make me more determined to make this work
Tommy G Posted 18 June 2010 Posted 18 June 2010 Ah, how lovely to see that Tommy G is back and doing little more than winding people up again. Possibly! Hook line and Sinker though for Mr Algeria. To put an end to this lcfc-arab, at the end of the day there is more danger of you using caps lock than this kind of idea hitting the heights like it does in some european country's mate. Good luck, and if you pull it off and get a decent number of people doing it then at the end of the season I will take my hat off to you.

The quality is. Of course the more the better (providing they get involved) but we won't give in because we can't reach 300 people or 100 people. If there is only 50 people all season long, then those 50 people will have had a great season, that I can promise!

This i'm not doing this to make games more fun for the 22,000 people who dont get involved i'm doing it to to improve mine and the 60 or so other lads who get involved

LCFC-ARAB Posted 18 June 2010 Posted 18 June 2010 It was upwards of 80 an hour ago according to another poster?... we've had 90 people who has said they want to get involved i was being pessimistic i'm bored of you now
Ilkeston_Fox Posted 18 June 2010 Posted 18 June 2010 It was upwards of 80 an hour ago according to another poster?... OK, the precise number so far is 89. NOT THAT IT MATTERS.
1964FOX Posted 18 June 2010 Posted 18 June 2010 OK, the precise number so far is 89. NOT THAT IT MATTERS. Pehaps Tommy G is taking where we are meeting too literally and thinks we have to give precise numbers to the bar staff before we are allowed in The Counting House.
Ilkeston_Fox Posted 18 June 2010 Posted 18 June 2010 Pehaps Tommy G is taking where we are meeting too literally and thinks we have to give precise numbers to the bar staff before we are allowed in The Counting House. Well in the case then, we'll have a first round of 89 pints please.
AoWW Posted 18 June 2010 Posted 18 June 2010 Well in the case then, we'll have a first round of 89 pints please. Aww, thanks for offering to get the first round in - most generous of you.
Houdini Logic Posted 18 June 2010 Posted 18 June 2010 if someone has gone out of their way to way to stand behind us for what we are going to be doing and dont sing and get involved i will be telling them to **** off simple Let people stand where they want, let people do what they want - flags and whistles don't give you any more right than anyone else in a football ground
purpleronnie Posted 18 June 2010 Posted 18 June 2010 You're missing the point, he means if someone wants to get involved but then doesnt he will tell them where to go, he's not on about the rest of the boring fans who dont care.

wc-remix Posted 19 June 2010 Posted 19 June 2010 Bit stink on them. And a fiver you dont? At least they are going to the game, paying the money to keep the club going so you can ''bounce'' for 90 mins in the stands. Otherwise you can go and wave your flags at Hinckley united or Quorn if the club went bust? I don't think telling your own fans to piss off is one of the smartest moves you would ever make. I thought everyone was in it together when it came to supporting city but perhaps I'm wrong You should support Man United. a fiver, you are on if someone has gone out of their way to way to stand behind us for what we are going to be doing and dont sing and get involved i will be telling them to fuck off simple i am not going to go tell a random bloke in the middle of the kop to piss off just someone who wants to be in the fosse boys because its pretty obvious the type of fan we are after Agreed. Happens all over the world. You cannot just sit/stand in the area to get the atmosphere part of it but not contribute to it ffs. How old are you? More chance of Algeria spanking England tonight than you doing that Fosse Boiiii I'm switching between your baby squad style replies to me on here and the Germany game with Chris Moyles commentating and I'm not sure which is more entertaining. Ahh, a clear wind up. No idea. Baby Squad style replies??? You know them then do you? At the end of the day, people who have read through this thread know what we are about. We are not a 'baby squad'. We will not be insighting trouble - hence why we are nowhere near the away fans. You seem to be misinformed of what we are about, either that or just making a judgement based on the word 'ultras'. We are there to support Leicester City, both vocally and visably. We will be singing for the full 90 mins, waving flags/banners/scarves for 90 mins. Anyone who does not wish to do this isn't welcome with us. Thats not saying they are not welcome to support LCFC - of course they are. We just want to be seen as the Ultras section of the ground, the hardcore element of Leicester's support. That's not saying we're any better, just more vocal. Great post. i'm 22 baby squad? what are you talking about it's pretty simple, if someone has chosen to stand with us i expect them to have the same mindset as us by that i mean, want to sing for 90 minutes if they dont then they shouldnt get involved like yourself has said so if someone chooses to join us and become a serious part of the fosse boys then i expect them to do it properly is anyone else finding it hard to understand what i am saying or is it just this guy?? Another great post. I agree with what you say about anyone with the group who doesn't sing but have to be careful how we ask them to move, don't want any confrontation to give the club an excuse to stop us. It's one of the many quirks of English football....some folk just prefer to soak the atmosphere up. They aren't wrong in anyway. That's just them. In a similar sense, the 'ultras' are going to face an attitude in much the same vain e.g 'just kids....laughable'
Guest Bilo Posted 19 June 2010 Posted 19 June 2010 Fact is that we are a vocal group. Having people who stand near us just because we sing without contributing to the atmosphere will dilute what we're trying to do. If someone stands in the middle of us and doesn't bother singing when we're jumping and bouncing around for 90 minutes, they obviously don't have the right mentality and they don't need to be there. I'm sure if we tried to stand up and sing in the middle of the West Stand we'd be swiftly told to fvck off there as well, because we would be in the wrong part of the ground to try it. No fan is 'better' than another, it's just that we want like-minded people to join us and not the prawn sandwich brigade.
Floating Fox Posted 19 June 2010 Posted 19 June 2010 Anyone know where we can get a drum re-skinned? Oh and Tommy go back to reading the gay times chap, your not welcome here.
easilee Posted 19 June 2010 Posted 19 June 2010 Anyone know where we can get a drum re-skinned? Oh and Tommy go back to reading the gay times chap, your not welcome here. Any music shop that deals with drumkits will have replacement 'Heads'. Depending on size, minimum cost about £15. There's a big music shop on london road just past the train station called Sheehan's. Got them in there.
Mee Posted 20 June 2010 Posted 20 June 2010 It doesn't matter how many people there are, as long if they enjoy themselves, surely that's all what matters. Also bringing abit more atmosphere to the stadium is good.
Bloomfielder Posted 20 June 2010 Posted 20 June 2010 As a long time reader of this forum and a priority 1 ST holder it depresses me that again people cannot seem to respect other fans of their club without resorting to insults. We have seen it before on this site over issues like standing/sitting/singing/shirt wearing/which matches you attend etc etc etc. It is surely in the best interest of us all to encourage people to attend games and support their club without this elitist attitude that some fans are better than others and are going to behave as they like no matter what . Before I get attacked can I just say that I am happy to stand and sing but I do not feel that makes me a better fan nor that I have the right to take someone else's seat nor stand and block others view. . The point that someone made about the swearing in songs is a good one. I am not a prude and expect strong language at games but I will not use that language myself so when those songs are sung I do not participate. If groups genuinely want to improve atmosphere perhaps more songs that general fans and children can join in with would help. I know it is unacceptable to many to sing left/right side but it gets more people involved

I know it is unacceptable to many to sing left/right side but it gets more people involved I think you're confusing elitism with like-mindedness. Just because a group of Leicester fans share the same values and wish to formalise them doesn't make them elitist. We have in mind a very specific vision for those we want in our group so that our mentality as a group is not diluted. I don't think anyone involved would claim to be a "better" fan because of what we're doing but this is the way we want to support our club, just as others choose to support the club in their own way. We don't intend on infringing on the rights of others in carrying this out, hence why we've chosen an empty area of the ground in which to congregate. Oh, and there's not a chance in hell that we'll be getting Left side/right side going. It's an absolute embarassment.
