moseeds Posted 20 June 2010 Posted 20 June 2010 LCFC ARAB I was in a gorgeous old Inn by the wharves at London bridge surrounded by about 200 red, green and white clad Algerians and 100 odd England fans. It was a dull game but I'd never ever enjoyed watching a game of football as I did on Friday night. The Algerian fans were absolutely amazing and this was in front of a projector! The best the England fans could do was some boorish drunken droning chanting. The Algerians were jumping up and down, singing proper songs with discernible words, the women were doing their screaming thing (red indian style!). It was like a carnival not aggressive at all but incredibly enjoyable. I look forward to the day where we can recreate even a little bit of that passion - LCFC Arab, I'm sure you know the 1-2-3 allez Algerie chant (summat like that anyway)...I'm sure it can be adapted 1-2-3 L. C. F. C. ! i'm sure the the chorus on ushes OMG song is useful for summat!
Mee Posted 20 June 2010 Posted 20 June 2010 Pics! People will call it boring, but it was fun to make Still need to sperate the letters on 'The' and maybe the the 'X' and the 'S' thicket though.
jonthefox Posted 20 June 2010 Posted 20 June 2010 nice . i think you should leave it as it is, as the 'homemade' look is far better if you ask me.

Houdini Logic Posted 21 June 2010 Posted 21 June 2010 i think the mistake you have made is saying if there's one person not singing you'll tell them to fuck off' - i can see what you meant, but putting it like that makes you sound like the sort of arrogant elitist Neanderthal that gives football fans a bad name. perhaps you need to modify your attitude so that rather than telling him/her to 'fuck off', you encourage them to participate, give them a flag to wave. That hits the nail on the head. I'm all for this providing it isn't used as an exclusionary device, as these sort of groups all too often are
LCFC-ARAB Posted 21 June 2010 Posted 21 June 2010 That hits the nail on the head. I'm all for this providing it isn't used as an exclusionary device, as these sort of groups all too often are sorry if i have misunderstood what you are saying but the whole idea of this is to get the 100 or so most vocal supporters together who want to sing for 90 minutes straight no matter what and then all go and stand and sing together that probbaly will come across as us trying to exclude our selves from everybody else but me and the other people who are organising this dont have children and families in mind when we think about what we are trying to achieve and we arent bothered about making the game more fun for the 20,000 other people in the stadium, we just want improve our own enjoyment of the game and by doing so will hopefully in a few years improve the whole atmopshere of the walkers that probably will come across as selfish or just arrogant, but it's the truth. and i'm not gunna try and sugar coat it to try and attract people who are a bit sceptical because if they are sceptical about it then they obviously dont have the right mentality for it this thread has gone off on a tangent from what it was meant to be, i doubt anyone can find a post from one of the lads organising this saying that we feel we are better supporters because we stand up and sing we respect that people want to support their team in different ways and i dont see what the problem is with us wanting to all get together and sing and move away from the fans who want to sit down and just watch the game if anybody doesnt agree with anything that i have just posted then the Fosse Boys isnt for you and we can decide who we want in our group because we came up with it if someone doesnt agree with our mentality and our views then please start your own group, the competition would be good

1964FOX Posted 21 June 2010 Posted 21 June 2010 Loving the scarves well done should look good with all the flags. Nice to see something that proves we are moving forwards with this. Shows we have a good chance of making it work If we all persevere with the idea.
