wc-remix Posted 17 June 2010 Posted 17 June 2010 Easy...we'll take about 1,5 tops for Leeds and 800 to Swansea. Both will poor atmospheres from our end. At least Swansea, the away end is that big you'll have plenty of room. Cheers mate.
Hugo Sanchez Posted 17 June 2010 Posted 17 June 2010 To be part of this, do you have to met at the pub ? Like i mean can't people met you inside the ground ? I'm up for giving this a try and all but do you know what part of the ground were you're gonna stand for the sunderland game ?
wc-remix Posted 17 June 2010 Posted 17 June 2010 IMO 'ultra' supporters groups are all about the pre-game meet-up. Just from my experience etc, couldn't fathom rocking up to a game 10 minutes before k/o and then leaving right after. It should be about brotherhood, mates etc etc.
Floating Fox Posted 18 June 2010 Posted 18 June 2010 No you dont have to pitch up at the counting house but as said the pre-match meet is half the fun...Come and join us in the ground, i'm sure we'll stand out!
Ozwin Posted 18 June 2010 Posted 18 June 2010 Gonna need to get me one of these flags. Seeing wc-remix's sig has made me think how good it'll look if everyone holds theirs up. Saying that I suppose any old LCFC flag would look good

I'm really worried that I won't notice you lot in the pub ...Hopefully the weather will be like it has been for the last couple of days so we can stand outside with all the flags (while obviously enjoying a refreshing pint or two )
LCFC-ARAB Posted 18 June 2010 Posted 18 June 2010 My uncle's mate does this, he buys the 'Just the Ticket' seats, then one game he'll go in the kop, next he'll be sitting next to us. It's hilarious. Have you had a word with the club about the Flags and stuff Arab? We sent an email about a week ago and had no reply, we are gunna send another email soon then if we get no reply get the fsf involved

I'm up for giving this a try and all but do you know what part of the ground were you're gonna stand for the sunderland game ? We really want everyone to meet at the counting house we want everyone to be part of the group not just turn up for games then go straight after the pub is 2 minutes from the ground so isnt out of anyones way who is going to the game even if you just turn up at the counting house for 2pm and then just march with us to the ground

Tommy G Posted 18 June 2010 Posted 18 June 2010 I'm all for this - although I wouldn't be taking part in this I am a bit concerned about how many people actually take part? Any ideas? I think it would be a bit embaressing for the club if 25 eighteen yr olds were singing away and waving flags in a tiny pocket of the ground. I guess the idea is to get more people involved as the season goes on? Also Fosse ''BOYS'' will get some ribbing from away fans as it sounds like your mummy has let you out to see the game but make sure you are back by 5 for tea. Joking apart - good luck with it and I hope it adds to the atmosphere in the ground.

On the name, I couldn't really care less what the away fans think of it. I'm not expecting them to understand what we're about or the mentality. Besides we're all about supporting Leicester, not mindless "banter" with away fans so they're irrelevant really. Thanks for your support though.

Tommy G Posted 18 June 2010 Posted 18 June 2010 Was the name put up for debate or just decided by the group leader?
Fosse Boy Posted 18 June 2010 Author Posted 18 June 2010 Was the name put up for debate or just decided by the group leader? Settled on by a few of us.

Joking apart - good luck with it and I hope it adds to the atmosphere in the ground. the 18 year old bit isnt really relevant as the 8 or so main lads involved are in their early 20's but the 25 people thing? i would take 25 people who are up for singing new songs for 90 minutes, bouncing and waving flags all game to 1000 people who just stand next to each other and sing every now and again i've said it plenty of times before but i'll say it again swansea home fa cup game last season was probably my favourite ever game at the walkers and we had about 12 of us just singing and bouncing all game and on the name thing this is the only place where the name as been brought up on the uk ultras forum and the holmsdale fanatics forum they havnt mentioned the name sounding stupid at all and they are they are the people most clued up on the scene and like Fosse Boy said who gives a shit what away fans say they will see us bouncing all game and thats all that matters if you want to get involved then go for it, waiting to see how many people join first is pretty silly as we could have 500 people doing that... when they could just get involved and make it good do something about it dont just stand around and wait for other people to do it first
Tommy G Posted 18 June 2010 Posted 18 June 2010 Don't get your back up I was just asking. i'd rather watch the footie than ''bounce'' all game as you put it. You have got to appreciate that the majority of people, me included, like to go and watch the footie, have the occasional sing song etc not spend all game facing towards the away fans & not watching the footie (I can seee the attraction though as it's one of the only times in life you can call a 6ft 6 bloke a c*unt to his face and flick the V's and get away with it) Like I said in my original post, good luck with the whole project and I look forward to seeing you next season. i think it would be great banter if someone could sneak some flares into the ground. i dont think the name is great but I'm not part of it, so if you guys think its good then that's all that matters

Even if it was 25 eighteen year olds, in 5 years time that's 25 twenty-three year olds + a lot more who will jump on board once they see how good it will be. This happened down in Australia, our league started only 5 years ago. We were a bunch of 17-18 year olds traveling around the country supporting our club (ridiculously naive), there were 50 of us. Now we go on the big away trips to Sydney (10+ hour drive) and we take 1,000 and we are all 5 years older. Have upwards of 80 at the moment who are genuinely interested (of differing ages I might add). On the name, I couldn't really care less what the away fans think of it. It's not baseball.

And a fiver you dont? At least they are going to the game, paying the money to keep the club going so you can ''bounce'' for 90 mins in the stands. Otherwise you can go and wave your flags at Hinckley united or Quorn if the club went bust? I don't think telling your own fans to piss off is one of the smartest moves you would ever make. I thought everyone was in it together when it came to supporting city but perhaps I'm wrong

Tommy G Posted 18 June 2010 Posted 18 June 2010 How old are you? More chance of Algeria spanking England tonight than you doing that Fosse Boiiii I'm switching between your baby squad style replies to me on here and the Germany game with Chris Moyles commentating and I'm not sure which is more entertaining.
Ilkeston_Fox Posted 18 June 2010 Posted 18 June 2010 Baby Squad style replies??? You know them then do you? At the end of the day, people who have read through this thread know what we are about. We are not a 'baby squad'. We will not be insighting trouble - hence why we are nowhere near the away fans. You seem to be misinformed of what we are about, either that or just making a judgement based on the word 'ultras'. We are there to support Leicester City, both vocally and visably. We will be singing for the full 90 mins, waving flags/banners/scarves for 90 mins. Anyone who does not wish to do this isn't welcome with us. Thats not saying they are not welcome to support LCFC - of course they are. We just want to be seen as the Ultras section of the ground, the hardcore element of Leicester's support. That's not saying we're any better, just more vocal.

AoWW Posted 18 June 2010 Posted 18 June 2010 Ah, how lovely to see that Tommy G is back and doing little more than winding people up again.
