davieG Posted 17 June 2010 Posted 17 June 2010 They all have their good and bad points, none seem perfect for the job, oh for a Banks or Shilton.
Koke Posted 17 June 2010 Posted 17 June 2010 Would stick with Green, really. They are all much of a muchness tbh. None of them really stand out. Though whatever happens in this WC, after it's finished Joe Hart should #1.
Chairman of the Bored Posted 17 June 2010 Posted 17 June 2010 Time to give Hart a go. Did little wrong at Brum last year and has the much better haircut of the three.
Jimothy Posted 17 June 2010 Posted 17 June 2010 People say they all have faults, but what exactly are Harts faults? I don't actually see that he has any. People might says he's inexperienced, but he is roughly the same age as the German keeper and has a similar amount of caps, and that didn't seem to be a problem for them. If you're good enough, you're old enough. He's the best of the 3, he should play.

Corky Posted 17 June 2010 Posted 17 June 2010 I'd probably go for Hart, but not too fussed if Green retains his place.
dandannieldanok Posted 17 June 2010 Posted 17 June 2010 James for me. I don't think throwing Hart in for his competitive debut is particularly wise personally, we don't want another Carson episode, it could ruin the lad.
Fosse Boy Posted 17 June 2010 Posted 17 June 2010 Green - Has fucked up already this World Cup. James - History tells us he's prone to fuck ups. Hart - Hasn't really done much not to deserve his chance but in my opinion would be under immense pressure not to "do a Green" if he were given the Number One jersey, which would massively affect his performance. Solution - Stick with Green. Lightning won't strike twice.
StanSP Posted 17 June 2010 Posted 17 June 2010 Taking out Green would knock his confidence more than his error did, if it's even possible for his confidence to be lower. Stick with him for tomorrow. Against weaker opponents, if he ****s up again, then of course he should be dropped for the Slovenia match.
