Nigel Pearson to Hull ?

If he goes it'll because there's no money to improve the team, that being the case anything less than a playoff spot would be seen as failure where as with Hull anything other than relegation, e.g mid table stability will be seen as a success considering the dire straits the club is in.

Also I'm not so sure his relationship with Mandaric is all that great..

Would you want to work for Mandaric?

What the utter fvck?

I cannot see why Pearson would want to make a step down, to a smaller club, with a worse team, with obscene wages thrown all over the places, a shambles in a word.

But we've still not renewed his contract, what's going on? I'm getting really nervous about this to be honest.

I still refuse to believe it until it's confirmed. I've got a good feeling it'll more than likely be Kevin Blackwell or Sean O'Driscoll. Both fit the criteria that the Hull chairman has stated and also it's been noted that the manager is currently with a club. Also both live within close proximity of Hull.

Chris Powell should get the gig if Nigel walks. He won't though. Hull put the pot in tinpot, Joke of a club.

Someones having a serious giggle at this rumour even being discussed.

Ian Holloway and Nigel Pearson are in the frame the guy just said. But Pearson more likely.

Hull's BBC reporter saying Hull City have been in contact with both Hollway and Pearson, Hull have agreed a deal, manager wants to bring backroom staff and this has been agreed. Quotes from Holloway saying he's going to stay at Blackpool. People at LCFC are refusing to comment.

hello all, hull fan here.

pretty shocked at the speed of all this but it appears from our end that it is looking quite likely. local radio has it as looking quite likely. also saw sky sports news earlier saying in talks but that was taken off. are your local radio and other media outlets saying anything?

Our local radio don't know much mate. There not giving anything away.

Listening to your Radio Humberside looks like he's gone.

Oh shit. On that Hull radio station it says Leicester are denying communication. Says Leicester journalists are now conceding that it's more than likely. Bringing all his backroom staff with him apparently. Definitely been talks apparently but not a done deal. Has agreed a deal in principle.

Fuck me, where did this come from. Suicidal if true.

Good point, I forgot Leicester had already sewn up the league title.

Despite all the chat about Hull being in financial ruin, we're also £26 million in debt and have got an owner who can't/won't knock his wallet about. They're getting £48 million pounds over the next four seasons, we're not.
