Dan Posted 25 June 2010 Posted 25 June 2010 This is a joke, an absolute joke. Will they break the fvcking silence for fvck sake man.
Matt Posted 25 June 2010 Posted 25 June 2010 Why would we not confirm/deny Hull are interested and Pearson is not talking to Hull if none of it was true? Add abit more excitement to the life of a Leicester City fan? With Hull planning to annouce their new manager on Monday I think he's gone. Well done Hull you've got a great manager, Thank-you very much Pearson I love you but say that through gritted teeth and question your ambition.
Salieri Posted 25 June 2010 Posted 25 June 2010 Yes he's made plenty of cock-ups but this is nothing to do with Mandaric really. I'm sure he offered NP a fair enough contract, nothing much Mandaric can do about this. It's more likely the lack of available funds that is the issue than the contract itself. It's all very well having '3 year plans' and big ideas but Milan needs to provide the funds if he has serious aspirations of getting us into the Prem.
Ozwin Posted 25 June 2010 Posted 25 June 2010 I can't believe this. If true I'll lose loads of respect for Pearson. He is/was building something here.
Fosse Boy Posted 25 June 2010 Posted 25 June 2010 FAO of "Christ I hope not" Winning the League Cup trophy a couple of times aswell as a european tour was painful to take. Probably nowhere near as much fun as playing in Division 4.
Babylon Posted 25 June 2010 Posted 25 June 2010 Why would we not confirm/deny Hull are interested and Pearson is not talking to Hull if none of it was true? Because it's 6.45pm on a Friday... do you think everyone is sat waiting for Stringer the muppet to call.
CKB Posted 25 June 2010 Posted 25 June 2010 Stringer: Can't get hold of Mandaric or Hoos. unavailable to speak to BBC Leicester. BBC Leicester havent been able to get hold of Mandaric OR Pearson since mid May..... sounds like an absolute car crash It just seems day by day whatever Milan preaches about putting in his own money, etc that he really doesn't give a shite no more
Cropwellfox Posted 25 June 2010 Posted 25 June 2010 The timing of this is just rediculous. Hoos sounds like he is vaguely sensible, I hope the reason they've not been very communicative is that they've seen this coming and have got somebody lined up to come in.. Somehow i would imagine it will be a rushed appointment of either Dowie, Coleman or Ince.
Ghurkin Posted 25 June 2010 Posted 25 June 2010 That's pure quality. It confuses the hell out of he weak, feeble and gay though.
Matt Posted 25 June 2010 Posted 25 June 2010 Because it's 6.45pm on a Friday... do you think everyone is sat waiting for Stringer the muppet to call. Rumours broke at 9am this morning according to Stringer, he's been phoning contacts all day but couldn't get hold of Chief Executives/Milan or anyone, he did speak to someone this afternoon (Not sure who) but they would neither confirm or deny.
Shrenchel Posted 25 June 2010 Posted 25 June 2010 Some of you seem strangers to reality. Higher attendances?! In the league above you fvcking plank. 10 years ago you had an average attendance of 5,000. All the local window lickers only turned up once you made it to the premiership. In another 10 years, you'll probably be in the 3rd division playing in front of 4 figures again.
Ozwin Posted 25 June 2010 Posted 25 June 2010 Sky Sports aint no mugs, they must have got this from a decent source. Pretty much buggered now aren't we, I'm having visions of Ian Dowie and finishing 17th every season again. [/overreaction]
Jimothy Posted 25 June 2010 Posted 25 June 2010 Only just saw this thread. I've not read everything everyone has put but the 606 thread this all started from is clearly written by the guy who started this thread, same wording and writing style. This is clearly where the Sky Sports thing has come from, someone's told them, they've jumped the gun and realised it's bull. The only other google find re this is a Hull Daily Mail article thats reacting to the Sky Sports balls up. As for Stringer saying there has been no contact with MM or NP since May, how on earth did we sign Kennedy, surely one of them sanctioned the move. I'm not saying he won't go eventually, but this rumour is clearly made up,
Ghurkin Posted 25 June 2010 Posted 25 June 2010 sorry but thats has just cheered me up regardless See, it looks you may have understood it. It's only had that one (tongue in cheek) run out in a couple of years as it's only used when we're mullering teams. If you're lucky, you'll get to see it in it's full camp rawness.
Shrenchel Posted 25 June 2010 Posted 25 June 2010 'Hull fans' who care more about hero-worshiping the players they actually turned up to watch rather than their own team can probably be added to that too.
Narborough_fox Posted 25 June 2010 Posted 25 June 2010 I never knew you could get Emirates Stadium and a swimming pool mixed up.
CKB Posted 25 June 2010 Posted 25 June 2010 The timing of this is just rediculous. Hoos sounds like he is vaguely sensible, I hope the reason they've not been very communicative is that they've seen this coming and have got somebody lined up to come in.. I find it quite shabby that no one can get in contact with any "important" figure at the club... What they all doing? probs sunning it up somewhere and going oh wait we actually run a football club? oops i guess we should really get in contact with someone..oh wait lets have another round of golf first
Ghurkin Posted 25 June 2010 Posted 25 June 2010 Higher attendances?! In the league above you fvcking plank. 10 years ago you had an average attendance of 5,000. All the local window lickers only turned up once you made it to the premiership. In another 10 years, you'll probably be in the 3rd division playing in front of 4 figures again. Another one that uses selective dates to try to make things fit their argument picking a datye when there's been fans protests and we were in Division four. :crylaugh:What a plank you are. . What a shame we've held several records for highest attendances over the years just to piss on the rest of your nonsense. I never knew you could get Emirates Stadium and a swimming pool mixed up. Uh oh, seems you fall into the first category I mentioned.
Heart-Shaped Fox Posted 25 June 2010 Posted 25 June 2010 Hull fooking City! Why the fook would he go there?! There is nothing on the SSN webstie or anything. If he goes I might actually cry and go into hibernation.
Ghurkin Posted 25 June 2010 Posted 25 June 2010 'Hull fans' who care more about hero-worshiping the players they actually turned up to watch rather than their own team can probably be added to that too. Try the you tube clip for a more honest impression though.
orangecity23 Posted 25 June 2010 Posted 25 June 2010 Stringer did say he rang at half 5 but Hoos wasn't available to talk to - if Hoos is anything like me, at half 5 on a friday he's already buggered off home. Hopefully thats the reason for it.
AndyBrew Posted 25 June 2010 Posted 25 June 2010 See, it looks you may have understood it. It's only had that one (tongue in cheek) run out in a couple of years as it's only used when we're mullering teams. If you're lucky, you'll get to see it in it's full camp rawness. don't get me wrong I have nothing against Hull City and if this turns out to be true then good luck to you, but that youtube video is cringeworthy of the highest order and I don't care if Phil Brown and Bullard were spit roasting cheryl cole (tweedy) that shit should not be seen in a football stadium
