Maybes Posted 25 June 2010 Posted 25 June 2010 I just still can't get my head around why he would pick Hull. They just got relegated. Not a lot of money. While at Leicester he has a project going. A very good one at that. Just wondering , if in the case that he does go, what reception he would get when we play them. Projects need funding and if Mando is not willing to do that then I can see why he would leave.
Narborough_fox Posted 25 June 2010 Posted 25 June 2010 Someone with passion, knowledge, good with the players and tried please.
Mee Posted 25 June 2010 Posted 25 June 2010 Stringer doing an update on Radio Leicester in a few minutes.
orangecity23 Posted 25 June 2010 Posted 25 June 2010 I meant someone of Megsons ilk, as opposed to the actual ginger defense monger himself. Even Milan's isn't dumb enough to make that mistake twice...right?
CKB Posted 25 June 2010 Posted 25 June 2010 explanation ; a manager who wants more money Surely MM could have backed him?? Milan should have been thinking we were so close now lets go take it that one step further i'll back you, i'll give you more money..now take us up... If it all fooked up then Milan would have been seen more as a hero than the villian he is gonna be seen as now
Guest Mee-9 Posted 25 June 2010 Posted 25 June 2010 Stringers doing a Broadcast on the story in about 3 mins,
bridlington Posted 25 June 2010 Posted 25 June 2010 He'll only cost you about £300k I think, a price worth paying for the standard of manager you'll get compared to the likes of Paul Hart. Can see us going for someone like Brown, Hart, Dowie, etc now if he does go. Would Love Chrissy to get the job though. Losing Steve Walsh will be a MASSIVE loss too. of all the names mentioned, i have to say i'd be delighted if we did get pearson. and you can do a lot worse than phil brown, i'll have you know!
dandannieldanok Posted 25 June 2010 Posted 25 June 2010 Jean Tigana not him again! Luckily he's got a job.
Salieri Posted 25 June 2010 Posted 25 June 2010 This has to be bollocks, surely? I'll be angry at Pearson for jumping ship if it is true, but more angry with Mandaric for allowing this to happen. I shan't believe owt anyway until it is confirmed by Shit_Arse.
bridlington Posted 25 June 2010 Posted 25 June 2010 Stringers doing a Broadcast on the story in about 3 mins, would one of you lot mind doing me a favour and reporting back?
teblin Posted 25 June 2010 Posted 25 June 2010 This is terrible. But always had the feeling this may happen! Hopefully its not true.
BlueSi13 Posted 25 June 2010 Posted 25 June 2010 Pathetic. Smaller club. Shit city. Smaller fanbase. Downward spiral. No money. Genius Pearson. Good riddance if he can be bought by so little. Hull City will NEVER be a Leicester City.
Tommeh Posted 25 June 2010 Posted 25 June 2010 Still refuse to believe this, until I see him in their dugout opening day. A premier league club, understandable, Sheff Weds, Boro - previous clubs, understandable. But Hull... HULL! Pearson would be a fvcking moron to go there espeically after everything he's been through in the 2 seasons here. Clearly it's like most explanations in football.... We're a laughing stock.
Matt Posted 25 June 2010 Posted 25 June 2010 Alan Curbishley? There really isn't anyone out there that intrests or excites me.
Fosse Boy Posted 25 June 2010 Posted 25 June 2010 would one of you lot mind doing me a favour and reporting back? I wouldn't imagine that would be a problem to be honest.
Salieri Posted 25 June 2010 Posted 25 June 2010 Alan Curbishley? There really isn't anyone out there that intrests or excites me. Can we save the speculation on who may become the next manager until NP has actually gone?
Cropwellfox Posted 25 June 2010 Posted 25 June 2010 Stringer: Can't get hold of Mandaric or Hoos. unavailable to speak to BBC Leicester. BBC Leicester havent been able to get hold of Mandaric OR Pearson since mid May..... sounds like an absolute car crash
Mee Posted 25 June 2010 Posted 25 June 2010 Stringer basically saying that we have neither confirmed or denied the report. Also just saying the contract negotiations are not going well with Milan.
bridlington Posted 25 June 2010 Posted 25 June 2010 you lot are unintentionally proving an outsiders' opinion of mandaric completely true by the way. he must be a nightmare owner.
Ghurkin Posted 25 June 2010 Posted 25 June 2010 Pathetic. Smaller club. Erm, recently we have slightly higher attendances. Shit city. I've spent enough time in Leicester to know you couldn't py me enough to swap for Hull. Smaller fanbase. Nope. Downward spiral. Nope, stronger squad than the one that got us promoted No money. We're fine financially, got parachute payments coming plus other investment. Genius Pearson. Good riddance if he can be bought by so little. Hull City will NEVER be a Leicester City. Christ, I hope not. Some of you seem strangers to reality.
Ashley Posted 25 June 2010 Posted 25 June 2010 I might be doing it to get a better contract out of us? IF Pearson does go... Who the fook are hull city?!
dandannieldanok Posted 25 June 2010 Posted 25 June 2010 you lot are unintentionally proving an outsiders' opinion of mandaric completely true by the way. he must be a nightmare owner. Yes he's made plenty of cock-ups but this is nothing to do with Mandaric really. I'm sure he offered NP a fair enough contract, nothing much Mandaric can do about this.
Maybes Posted 25 June 2010 Posted 25 June 2010 FAO of "Christ I hope not" Winning the League Cup trophy a couple of times aswell as a european tour was painful to take.
