lookwhaticando Posted 25 June 2010 Posted 25 June 2010 This is getting out of hand. One 606 rumour, and it's spreading like wildfire.
Braunyfox Posted 25 June 2010 Posted 25 June 2010 SKY have removed it off the ticker now, someone must have called them and told them it's Crap
C-man Posted 25 June 2010 Posted 25 June 2010 I have no idea why he'd leave us for them but I can't help thinking no smoke without fire.
The Doctor Posted 25 June 2010 Posted 25 June 2010 This is getting out of hand. One 606 rumour, and it's spreading like wildfire. this is pretty much it. sky are not some oracle of knowledge to the point where everything they say is true.
dandannieldanok Posted 25 June 2010 Posted 25 June 2010 I have no idea why he'd leave us for them but I can't help thinking no smoke without fire. Cash, simply. No matter what financial shit they're supposedly in, I'm pretty sure they'd be able to offer him a larger wage.
Maybes Posted 25 June 2010 Posted 25 June 2010 There must have been some sort of contact/discussions then. Mandaric had better get him his contract sorted sharpish otherwise the City fans could turn on him
CKB Posted 25 June 2010 Posted 25 June 2010 Well this is really weird plasted over SSN one min then everything vanishes?
Tevez Posted 25 June 2010 Posted 25 June 2010 "100% confirmed, will be announced within the next few days. Not a rumour mill, definate fact. Good appointment in my eyes. Bringing his assistant Shakespeare with him. Good luck to them"
C-man Posted 25 June 2010 Posted 25 June 2010 Cash, simply. No matter what financial shit they're supposedly in, I'm pretty sure they'd be able to offer him a larger wage. I think we're able to offer him higher wages than what he's currently on, but is it more to do with the amount of money that'll be made available to him? i.e. more than £0.
lookwhaticando Posted 25 June 2010 Posted 25 June 2010 Nigel Pearson ate my chihuahua. [/retract] It's a slow news day. One of those days where you pick a random name out of the hat and link it to the first club you can think of without a manager. Let's get a rumour going... I'll pick the manager, next person picks the managerless club. See if we can't get it on the ticker. David 'milky football' Pleat to manage...
Jonezy Posted 25 June 2010 Posted 25 June 2010 Please God no. My national team just got spanked by frickin Japan, I can't handle anymore this summer......
Narborough_fox Posted 25 June 2010 Posted 25 June 2010 Well he'd have nothing to work with as Bullard has been given a 2 million 'golden handshake' and ridiculed in Debt's and financial worries.
Edmund Posted 25 June 2010 Posted 25 June 2010 "We're very happy with the way it's progressing and we're confident we'll have a first-class man in place very soon," Pearson told the Hull Daily Mail."We can't say anything more at this time. We're at a very sensitive stage but we're close. "It's a confidential process but I hope people will understand why that's been the case when we come to announce a new manager. "We're after somebody who's got a good track record in this division, someone with integrity and honesty." This worries me a little, that sums up NP in two words. Although it does say the man their after has a good track record in this division which implies whoever it is, has managed in this division for more than one season.

Leeds after simon grayson moves to replace hull-bound leicester city manager Nigel Pearson. Now get that grade a BS onto some unrelible site e.g. football rumours and time how long it takes to be accepted as fact.

CKB Posted 25 June 2010 Posted 25 June 2010 Did SSN just fall for some bollocks then? i am pretty confused because anything NP to Hull related on SSN has completely vanished
C-man Posted 25 June 2010 Posted 25 June 2010 What I'm most gutted about is that Peter Reid has just joined Plymouth.

Guest Mee-9 Posted 25 June 2010 Posted 25 June 2010 Yes he's done a great job here. But If he wants to go there's not much we can do. He hasn't signed a contract, which for me has been a mystery, and made me think does he really want to be here?
Cropwellfox Posted 25 June 2010 Posted 25 June 2010 What I'm most gutted about is that Peter Reid has just joined Plymouth. was about to post the same thing !!! but don't worry Paul Hart and John Gregory are both seeking employment - i know they are not quite Peter Reid quality, but nontheless incredible talent
davieG Posted 25 June 2010 Posted 25 June 2010 If he goes it'll because there's no money to improve the team, that being the case anything less than a playoff spot would be seen as failure where as with Hull anything other than relegation, e.g mid table stability will be seen as a success considering the dire straits the club is in. Also I'm not so sure his relationship with Mandaric is all that great..
