What we feared, Pearsons Departure!

What we all feared, Nigel Pearsons departure! It will be due to the fact Hull; will offer him a bigger wage and a bigger Transfer budget! So what happens now? I don’t think we could get people like Southgate because their wage demands will be too high I can see a Martin Allen all over again! And I think the hopes of Waghorn and Vaughan returning are gone! So throw names about who do we think shall take over? I think we may get linked with the likes of Kenny Jacket of Millwall maybe or dare I say it? Stevie Walsh? But who would you people like through the doors?

Seems that way, BBC have announced it should be wrapped up by Monday! I hope to God it isn't I just want to get people's opinions on who we want through the door!

We are limited. We can't afford to pay a club compensation thats for sure. The reported £400,000 compensation is not enough to prise a quality proven manager away from the club they are cureently in, especially with no transfer budgit.

We know he hasn't gone, but it's not lookin good at all.

Very worried about who we'll get if he goes. HUGE decision, we have the players, with a good manager we can carry on where we left off. It will be such a huge shame to see what we have messed up by a bad appointment.

Curbishley seems to be a popular choice, I doubt we can convince that type of manager to come with Milan in charge.

Anyone any ideas on new manager? Mandaric must surely have factored for this happening, I read article over month ago suggesting Paolo Sousa, was attracting Mandys interest, god I hope it's not Dowie! What worries me is that if this is long process of getting new manager he will miss a large chunk of Pre season.

Curbishley gets a nose bleed and has to call his mum if he goes anywhere north of Hertford. Plus he's got Fulham pulling his knickers down. Plus we're brass. No chance.

Thanks for sharing that with us, although I think posting it in one of the threads already open would have been good enough.

Yeah Steve Walsh, brilliant idea. Never done a days management or coaching in his life but what the heck lets install him as manager.... at least he has pashon.

Hi Liverpool fan here but as i live in leicester obviously i have a big intrest in them too......

my thoughts are nigel pearson is making a big mistake, hull will have big expectations to go straight back up and as we all know getting out of the championship is one of the hardest leagues to get out of. If he fails to get promotion he could even get sacked, anything less than promotion with them would be a failure.........could set him back a few years as a boss

At leicester again expectations are still pretty low as last season was above expectations and with little money in the transfer kitty no1 expects leicester to get promotoed this season,

Im suprised hes even considering a move there to be honest, would be better again performing higher than expectations at leicester for a bit more and raising his profile to get a middle line premiership job maybe.

Ha, you obviously don't know Leicester fans very well. Most of our lot expect champions league football and will accept nothing less. :frusty:

I think a lot of the players will be angry about this too. I mean quite a lot of them were brought here under Pearson and I'm sure they came under the ambitions he had. Without Pearson they probably wouldn't even be here.

Gutted I really am.

I am finding it incredible that people think we are going to have a disastrous season if/when he goes. Lets wait and see what happens. As has been said before we are trying to get investors in and according to Davie G we had them meeting with the club earlier this week.

Perhaps a condition of investment may be that they bring in a higher profile manager etc. If so NP may well have thought bollocks to you and jumped ship. Either way we are not automatically fooked if he goes and there is also no evidence that all the players will now jump ship too. We need to wait and see where we are 2 - 3 weeks from now and find out who will be in charge before we start with all the negativity.

o dear then :sweating:

milan needs to get his hand in his pocket anyway and give the new manager (or pearson if he stays) some freaking cash

you cant expect to get promoted if your biggest signings of the season are always loan signings.
