How many managers will MM Appoint/Sack this season?

Can anyone see the managerial appointment and sacking farce of 3 seasons ago rearing it's ugly head again?

Lets be honest in all the managers Mad Mandy has appointed in his football clubd owning career (Which I can't be arsed to count up the amount he's appointed but I know for fact it's a hell of alot) he has only ever appointed 2 decent ones, 1 proven in Harry Redknapp at Portsmouth and then I think he struck abit of good luck rather than judgement in Nigel Pearson (That's not slagging Pearson off, he's a good manager, What I mean is that Mandaric didn't have a clue but stuck lucky).

If he appoints the manager I want. Then only 1.

But if he starts changing the managers like the farce of a few seasons ago, Mandaric's the one thats got to go.

This time he is not in a position to sack managers willy nilly,he cannot afford to pay out compensation.

Wonder if the compensation for Pearson will actually got to the club ;) or Mandy's court case? :P

he only really lost any money in paying compensation once that season - when paying off Allen since holloways would have no doubt been covered by the departure of megson to bolton.

TBH i think MM was unlucky that season - Yes he messed things up by sacking Allen so quickly but then he got screwed over by megson and really with the way holloways reign turned out the slate needed wiping clean.

If we couldn't offer Pearson a decent wedge to stay there isn't a chance in Hell we'll pay out compo for another clubs gaffer.

reckon Milan will go down the coach route to allow him to have a say in players coming in and the like. Means I have some confidence in these Steve Clarke, Brendon Rogers rumours.

i know think people are now realising milan as done nothing for this football club. all he as done reorganise our debts that's all .so get rid as soon as possible with someone who will put money in pay debts and move upwards and onwards.

I'm as disapointed as everyone else that we are set to lose NP, but can anyone tell me, when all we have is speculation about the reasons for NP's departure, how the hell all of a sudden, everyone knows everything there is to know about the finances of the football club, how much money MM has, how much money MM has put into the club etc etc?

It would seem that we need someone to blame for NP leaving and Milan is the target. As fans, we need to be careful here. If this finger pointing at MM escalates and turns into protests etc, he will be more likely to just dump the club into the hands of someone worse (like a Thai Consortium for instance). As angry and confused as everyolne is about NP leaving, we should perhaps at least wait until we get a little more info on whats happened before we point the finger of blame.

I'm no Milan fan by any stretch of the imagination. In fact myself and Davie G along with some others have constantly questioned him, how he is funding us etc etc. So much so that I've been accused of being anti MM which isn't the case.

If he deserves flack for doing something wrong then he will get it from me, the facts are at the moment we have no idea what it's all about. As that's the case how can people on here be slaughtering him for it? Especially if it does come down to just budgets (although there seems to be other bits and bobs involved now if you believe the mercury and other rumours).

He's innocent until proven guilty.

Am I the only one who thinks that there's nothing wrong with having 12 managers in one season? Keeps the players on their toes if they don't know who's gonna be standing on the other side of the dressing room door coming Monday morning training. Let's face it, DJ only plays to impress a new manager, so if we regularly change manager, he'll be brilliant, the team will flourish, we'll win the league (and possible a cup) and MM will be a hero, that is, if he isn't already!

So what you're saying is that when he appoints a manager who turns out to be shit, then he carries the can for the poor judgement yet when he finds a good manager (despite not many of us agreeing with his choice) then he just 'got lucky'?

Bit unfair that. I agree his track record isn't great, but he deserves credit for the appointment of Pearson.

Just a shame he couldn't hang on to him. <_<

So long as he keeps his nose out and appoints the right man, there's no reason why the managerial merry-go-round should start again. If we look at the managers who were in charge as full-time permanent managers, we see a huge clash of personalities between MM and Martin Allen, Megson dumping us in the brown stuff for Bolton and Holloway's position becoming untenable. If he doesn't fvck up, MM won't need to get sack happy again.

No, I said he appointed Harry Redknapp, a decent, proven manager, that was a good appointment by MM (And MM even managed to fuck that up by falling out with Redknapp, then having to go a beg him to come back to Portsmouth), Pearson IMO was a lucky strike by MM. Other than those 2 name a couple of decent appointments by MM in his football club owning career.
