It's not the end of the world but I'm definitely not as confident as I was only days ago. A slight dip for me

No - it's how you feel now, I'm sure they'll be another poll or two along when the new man comes in.

If there is one thing I've learned in life it's that there's no point worrying about what "might" happen... cos it might not. Usually there's not a lot you can do about it.

We'll be laughing when Hull get relegated next season.

My season is in disarray already, and the players haven't even come back for pre-season yet!!! I'm dreading it now, and I was full of optimism and hope just three days ago. Damn you Mandy and Pearson!!!!!!

i was hoping/expecting to go up this season, but now, who knows and it is the not knowing part which is the worst. in limbo, we all are. keeping the faith though.

I'll put it like this. I felt alot worse when we lost in the playoffs.

I'm partially optimistic as I think if Mandaric looks at the possibilitys available, there are some decent managers who aren't attached to clubs. (Mowbray, Curbishley, Brown)

But no doubt we'll get a rushed decision and get some clueless idiot managing us next season.

Yes like Brown!

You can't really blame NP.

I think he thinks he's taken us as far as he can at present and the chance to spend a bit of money at Hull was too much of a temptation.

I think he'll live to regret the move just as Mark McGhee did but with MM unwilling to dig deep and letting players go that NP wanted

to stay at the club he's got no choice really.

NP has it in his mind that we didn't get promoted because he wasn't supported fully last season so he's off..............simples!

I shall reserve judgement until the new man is appointed.

Pearson has gone that much is true, but a lot now rests on the squad he helped to create. While he will have more money to spend at Hull than he did here, it's unlikely that he'll have the funds to be going on a splurge a la Forest last season with Hull's debts. That should hopefully mean that our most important players, Hobbs, King and Fryatt in particular, will be out of Pearson's reach unless they hit the Premiership again.

oh right, well, my main concerns are that we won't be able to attract anyone that good, NP leaving a job like this will send out very negative messages to prospective employees.

secondly, he will no doubt take his scouting team, which i rate higher than NP himself and suggest could be the real secret of our (relative) success.

and finally, we may have a mini exodus of existing players, no doubt he'll have cash at hull and will be looking to get players like hobbs...

i hope those posters on here who rubbished the thought of us being in the premier league are happy, i suggested this might happen if we didn't go up, but it was all 'urgh, the premiership is evil'....

so, pretty pessimistic really, i can see it ending up mid table-relegation dog fight, unless MM makes a miraculous appointment.

wouldn`t be so bad if there were some decent managers to take, anyone will no doubt cost compensation but only manager who will do now is Eddie Howe at Bournemouth done an amazing job there!

It'll be depressing seeing Hull pick up some gems and some quality loan players. What could've been :(
